    Titanfall Atlas headset - microphone not working?


    Hey Xbox One forumers! I just picked up this headset and I love it. Got it set up fine, game audio sounds great, but my voice is not being picked up (green circle isn't going off in party). I do have the controller and adapter updated so I don't think that
    is the issue. I would greatly appreciate some help!

    Titanfall Atlas headset - microphone not working?

    Make sure that your Kinect is not set to be used for party chat because that will override the mic.

    Well, I figured out with a friend that it switches from Kinect voice chat to my mics voice chat when I boot up a game. Basically, my mic doesn't work when I'm not playing an actual game (even with Kinect chat off), but then does work upon immediately booting
    up let's say Dead Rising 3.

    Kinda strange.

    They are supposed to have the whole party chat issues fixed by Tuesday when Titanfall releases. I bought the Titanfall Atlas as well as I felt it was just the right thing to do so it would go with my TF controller. However, I do get some crackling here
    and there with game/music audio but I know that it is the adapter because the headset works just fine on my PC and 360.

    Oooh I want the Titanfall controller so bad lol. I hear the cracking when navigating dashboard menus but that is with the adapter like you said. Overall, I'm pretty happy and I cannot wait for Titanfall on Tuesday!

    Headset chat is STILL not working (I can't use the mic, have to use Kinect). I decided to be patient and hope it would be fixed with this update but nope! This is pretty ridiculous.

    I would suggest contacting Turtle Beach about this as this sounds like a problem on their end.
