Titanfall - Another post

My Honest Opinion to you.

1. The game is awesome it is so refreshing to just wall run around and find cool spots to hang onto. Makes a new dynamic sausage (<~~couldn't help myself) of finding player defense points. I literally got 20 kills hanging around above the flag on Capture
The Flag. Was hilarious as players are not really used to searching for others in this manner.

I will not be touching on good anymore even though i know i missed some things.

2.the weapon selection is simply bare! Some people will call this balognia but its fact, Weapon add ons have a bit more variety but still pretty bare.

3. The modes are not Original. I think some better concepts could have been thought up.

4. If you like maxing out rank do not expect to take but maybe 40 hours to hit Gen 10, not good IMO.

And most importantly it is only 6 v 6.

So although there is bad i will say IMO the game is great! Change of pace for shooters that adds extra level of tact and skill.

If i didnt get it on trade i would probably say worth 40$. If you can put something up for trade you will be very happy. Like said though this one i had my doubts on so i just traded in some never plays for something i thought was Iffy.

I could see myself playing at least 4 times a week for the next year and i have games to cycle.

Hello again, I'm wondering if I can do something to be able to talk. Does anybody know? if you guys didn't see my other post I've been unbanned for 1 week now and I still cant talk or hear anybody.

 

I think it'll take rather longer than 40 hours to hit Gen 10 if you're just playing the game instead of hunting challenges. It took me about 15 hours to get to Gen 2, and while you do earn experience at an accelerated rate, for each generation, I think it
will still take quite some time to really start getting up there. I have a blast playing it because each game plays out so differently. Camping spots are minimal because most places offer multiple entry and you can be taken by surprise if you're too dedicated
to a spot and someone is paying attention to their radar. Getting into a Titan is an empowering feeling, but you also need to realize that you are far from invulnerable.

 

Brilliantly Fun Game and best whenb playing with friends. Hardpoint, Capture the Flag and Last titan most fun the others are bad. I would say it will take longer than 40hrs to hit gen 10 but im only guessing and going of my pace at the moment.

Some games dont need constant unlocks of Useless stuff to be good,Titanfall adds enough IMO to keep it balanced and fresh.

Still playing and having fun which is saying alot as i have a short attention span for most MP FPS games and i become bored easy.Not the case here.

6v6 is perfect.

 

Ok maybe 60 hours but that is also off my pace as well as i did not focus much on challenges and im already almost Gen 2 at 12 hrs. And like Rippen said thereis accelerated Xp to factor in and my friends that are in gen 2 shot up to Lvl 30 gen 2 within hours.

I may have low estimated that. My bad.

 

Ok, well with only a few shortcomings it looks like I'm set for this. Thanks for your time on describing Tfall for me, appreciate it. I'm wondering what future patches would bring as well, 6 vs 6 seems a bit strange for 2014? For trade I'm thinking on trading
in ghosts, just don't think there's enough people on in the Asia Pacific region. Anyway, I've got ghosts on "other" consoles. I saw Titanfall for $79 yesterday which is normal for Australia, I'm looking forward to playing this now

 

I loved the game at first and part of me still loves the game but that being said lets break it down a bit

Pros

It feels fresh, fun and addictice

The mechs are really fun but i would have enjoyed this game even without the mechs

What i really like is the wall runnning

Maps look beautiful

Cons

You will grow tired of the game quickly

It doesn't give you the competitive feeling you get from Gears Of War and Halo although it is a fun game thats all it is just fun

No customization.. Thats huge for me and others it adds to the replay value a ton .. You can't even customize the name of your loudouts lmao..

Guns are limited in this game but one gun rules most and thats the carbine.. Its the all round best gun im the game

I had higher hopes for the game. I will continue playing it as well as buy the season pass i will most definitely be buying Titanfall2 when ever that comes out because although the game needs improvement im sure all that will be improved on the next titanfall.
I will buy Titanfall2 on the PS4 since im sure it will look better on that console aswell as i prefer the ps4 controller, reading on how dissapointed EA is im sure it will be multiplat.

 

Oh yea and at first i was all for the 6v6 thing and when i play i kill atLeast 9 pilots but i do wish it was not 6v6 its not like GEars Of War where 4v4 felt perfect for it.. In titanfall being the type of game it is i wish they would have figured out a
way to make it atleast 10v10 anyone here would be lying if they didnt tell you they want that when titanfall2 comes around i know no one here will want 6v6 again

@rippenharra so you dont want titanfall2 to improve? You want it to still feel like 6v6 titans it too much? I mean i get where your coming from in titanfall1 6v6 would Indeed be too much. Thats why i said they should have figured out a way to make 10v10
titans feel RIGHT. Im not saying your wrong rippen im just saying that for the next version of the game why not increase the cap? Why not make it so 10v10 feels right? With your way of thinking we would have never had smart phones because making calls and
sending txt would be (too much)

Again i agree 6v6 fits well into this first titanfall but i want them to figure how they will make you feel that way about 10v10 in their sequel

 

12v12 would make this game so much more fast paced. The bots are a joke, i have heard people say they died by them and i think how, i dropped kicked a group of 8 and they couldnt even kill me shooting tons of bullets at me while i kicked them around.

Talking Cons where is the reload while Running. This is not an impossible action, matter of fact with specialty training you are taught to reload on the go.

Sure i want it to improve but Increeasing the player count will not improve it IMO. Just like certain BF maps are too much with 32v 32. It actually makes the game worse. Ive been killed by a bot but i was already pretty damaged. Respawn can adjust the AI
to make them one hit kill bots (which they said they tried) and it killed the fun.

Larger player count doesnt make a better game. 6 v 6 on this game is perfect and incourages some real teamwork and tactics. Sure you can add more but them maps need to be bigger and add more titan obstructions for it to still be fun.

 

@rippenharra Sorry but through out my entire time playing this game i have not used team work.. I have used tactics and carried my team on my back for the win.

& figuering out how to increase player cap is a job itself .. That would mean they will have to make larger maps and make them work with a higher player cap so yes YES it will improve a game. Battlefield is another game and just because they failed at something
doesn't mean titanfall will. Just like gears of war was PERFECT with 4v4 doesn't mean titanfall can pull it off.

I do agree with you on this titanfall 6v6 is definitely the perfect fit heck even 7v7. But i am hoping they make us feel right with a higher cap for titanfall2

& just to clarify tour actually one of the people on this forum i respect so i dont want you to feel as if i coming at you lol.
