Titanfall Achievement unlocks plus pilot v pilot mode after release

Genius. It means people wont just sit back with a sniper until they max out. They want to rank up to their next generation, they'll have to work for it. Titanfall is getting better, and better.

 

I asked for pilot v pilot in the forums, I think FFA on angel city with no titans would be excellent.

not every needs titans to have a good game, and I can;t imaging how any single player game (not team games) would work with titans.

Also I can think of a few fun games which would work titan only.

There better not be a pilot only gamemode, or a no AI gamemode for that matter. Everyone who wants Titanfall to be just another CoD clone should just stick with the same old crap they're used to and let us have this! I really hope Respawn doesn't give in
to the cry babies who want every game to be the same. If you are so afraid of change, then keep buying CoD every year where everything stays the same!

 

If there somehow is a pilot only gamemode, then it wouldn't be *TITANFALL*! They better not get their way!

 

Seriously though, you would have to be a special kind of stupid to think that every game should be like CoD. If there were gamemodes that didn't have Titans or AI, how would you complete challenges or unlock gun mods or attachments? The answer is, you won't!
Then the idiots who wanted those gamemodes would complain and demand that the methods for doing so be changed.

If this does happen, they might as well change the name of the game to Fall. Which would do a great job of symbolizing the gaming industry as a whole if developers listened to the CoD fanboys and stopped trying new things!

 

Hmmm, not sure about this. I guess it's not a big deal since it's just another mode (the more the better). Heck I would love some sort of co-op/ horde mode

2 Questions

1, Why is it not Titanfall if they don't have Titans on every game mode?

2, Why is it said people are just wanting another COD, just because they want some classic game modes, which have been around for a hell of a lot longer than COD.

At the end of the day its a FPS, and people want to play a FPS, respawn could have easily come out and said look we aren't doing titan only game modes, but look we are doing these game modes and we hope they will be good enough to keep people happy.

from my point of view I can't figure out a way to do single player game modes like FFA with titans, since a lot of people play it will be on their own, surely it make sense to have single player modes as well.

Titanfalls has a really clever new wall running system, I also want to be good at that without needing to rush to a titan, the only way to play with it, is to play without titans.

 

Free for all with Titans would be fun actually. I usually take on Titans on foot and have my Auto-Titan as backup. There's nothing better than double-teaming an enemy Titan solo. You rodeo them but they can't leave their Titan to kill you because yours will
kill them!

Titanfall is unique and the Titans and AI need to stay. Without them the game will be slow, quiet, and boring. There are people who think that the wall-running and parkour are stupid. If people don't want Titans, AI, or parkour, don't play it! You don't
always get your way!

What do you mean you have to rush to a Titan and you can't play with the wall-running? Just because you can't do it easily you think they should remove the games namesake? Avoiding enemy Titans will give you motivation to learn faster if anything!

 

FFA with Titans would be pointless, because as soon as one person has a titan, they will be massively overpowered, and by the time everyone catches up would be hard.

You won't be able to rodeo a titan because the other 6 pilots will be shooting you, you want be able to use the anti titan weapons because the other 6 people will be shooting at you, and if you run in front of the titan with anything else except a titan
your dead.

Two FFA modes would be nice, one as Titans only, and one with no titans.

Also 1v1's, 2v2's etc would also add a little something IMO.

There is a certain skill set to killing pilot on pilot, I am not sure why people can't see that just as much as everything else.

I don't think people have a problem with the AI or the titans, what they want is some clarity on what the AI is for, how it will be implement in the real game.

I don't have a problem with the AI or Titans, infact I like them both, if respawn put enough things in the game to mix it up a bit, then the other stuff might pale into significance, but until the actually make a comment, I don't see the problem putting
their ideas forward to what they think will make the game good for them, without them wanting it to be another COD.

Although it is another FPS, no matter what respawn do, or anyone says.

 

Last night they leaked top look of the 15 maps, also the 5th game mode called pilot hunter, where you only get points for pilot kills, kill grunts/spectres for titanfall time reduction only, closer i would say to a true tdm sort of game mode. Those are on
all the major gaming sites including oxm

 

No pilot vs pilot for me. I want this game for its unique experiences; not for more of the same we get from CoD, BF, Halo etc...
