Titanfall 59.99 Seriously??

A game with a short campaign selling for $30 should not be used to support your belief that a primarily MP game should sell for $30 as well because once you finish the campaign game, you're likely done with it, whereas with the MP game, there is a massive
amount of replayability.

Where can you preorder Titanfall on a cheaper price?

I have checked some websites and all of them have the same prices. I want to look for a site that sells Xbox One's version for TitanFall far lesser than the inital price. I have checked the following:

Gamestop $59.99
Amazon $59.99
Microsoft Store $59.99

Any ideas? I want to save money, but I'm okay with the price. Just wondering if I can get it cheaper from somewhere.

Titanfall XBone bundle = $499.99

12 Month of Live = $39.99

XBone controller = $59.99

Still adds up to $600 worth of garbage to me...

 

Depends on how much content is offered at release to justify the price, but yeah the game should be cheaper for what it offers. I've played some 15$ multiplayer only games that put some $60 games to shame.

 

It does have a campaign mode... it's just an online campaign mode.

since the game hasn't even come out, and none of us has played anything other than the maps that were available on the beta, its a bit of a reach to call it a game with cod written all over it.

your logic is in abeyance here, how about you wait until you actually play the game and then comment on it with the benefit of experience?

oh, wait. theres that pesky silver account again. you won't be able to play the game since its an online game.

 

No campaign mode is just silly. I always like the campaign modes then leave the multi to my kids. Frankly i am too slow to do well in online games but am an avid gamer as a hobby.

i see by using no story mode they didn't need great writers and producers. Just a few techy guys and slam out a game

gta v online would have failed w no story mode to sell the disks. They sold over a billion well prior to online being avail.

so i see at the most there will be 1 million sold which is not enough to have a great online world. There just is not enough x1 owners yet. Then when a few of the million get updated content the online world will be even more divided and small

Just an example :

Bioshock is only solo,10-15 hours campaign and sold for $/€ 60 at launch.

I don't see why Titanfall should be under $/€ 60.

You will have a lot more options online then Call of Duty. More Maps DLC that kind of stuff. And you only play the campaign a few times anyway. Everyone plays online, so like boot61 said if online is as good as the beta then it is worth it.

 

Dont get how people equate not having MP as being half a game. Im tired of developers selling me games that have a crap SP or crap MP mode that was obviously added on to appease whomever. Would much rather pay $60 for a game that focuses on what it wants
to be and then executes it waaaaay better than the competition.

That said, I believe Titanfall is a perfect example. Respawn apparently wanted to make a killer MP game. I think most of would say, based on what we've seen in the Beta, that they look like they've achieved their goals.

More power to them for focusing all of their man power on delivering a game that doesnt have some cliche ridden, SP campaign full of plot holes, bugs and glitches. They know that the overwhelming majority of people that play FPS games play online and focused
on that ahead of bonus modes and story mode. Kudos to them.

 

its a beta how can you say that, i know whats gonna happen when its released, just not good enough, stupid kiddy guns and kiddy bots..thats where the market is

 

like with all games that we know little about, we will have to purchase the game and see what it has to offer. I will get the downloadable copy and if its good I will play it, if it sucks then I will go back to cod until something else comes out. Whenever
you go buy a new title like this you are taking a chance. Their were a lot of things I liked when playing the beta and some things I didn't like. I just hope they ironed the bad stuff out. An ffa mode would make me happy, I also like plenty of customization
for my pilot and titan. With no story mode I do agree with most that this game had better be flawless online! Or I will get a little upset when I do pay 60$ and it has a half *** multiplayer. Just remember Respawn that this is your first game and it could
be your last.

TITANFALL WILL HAVE A CAMPAIGN MODE AND IT WILL(HAS TO BE PLAYED ONLINE) BE CO-OP OR YOU CAN START IT SOLO, AND IT ALSO HAS THE MP MODE THAT EVERYONE PLAYED IN THE BETA, BUT TO BE PERFECTLY CLEAR SINCE NONE OF THE MODS ON HERE ARE ADDRESSING THIS
