  1. Titanfall 2 game clips not uploading with Windows 10 Game DVR

I love to capture the epic moments and epic fails of my game, but It's saying that I can't upload Titanfall 2 game clips with Windows 10 DVR because the game is not recognized and therefore can't be uploaded. The process I did it with may be one cause. Because
I'm playing off of origin games, i feel like it didn't read through. I have a menu shortcut (or at least should) for Titanfall 2, and I still had to add the game in manually. Anything that I would need to change in order to upload these clips?

    :)

DVR isn't picking up audio input from my microphone

    Hey LEIGHTON LEGEND,

Windows 10 Xbox DVR will record the game audio, but it does not record input voices or external audio. There is a setting to enable audio with Game DVR, but that setting is for enabling game audio. This page outlines all information on how to

Record game clips with Game DVR on Windows 10

    Hey there TechnologyDrago,

Sorry to hear about the issues with recording using Game DVR in Windows 10. Give this

    guide
a shot and see if it helps with getting that working for you. Has this ever worked for you and does it work with other games?

  5. I have looked through that guide, and I haven't seen anything that applies to uploading videos, or at least from what I've seen. I have everything recorded and I have the videos stored, but because it's saying the game isn't recognized, it won't allow me
to upload. "Sorry, this capture can't be shared. We don't recognize the game." is what it's telling me currently. I think that because I had to add in the shortcut manually made it so it didn't recognize the title, but I'm not positive. Any guides that deal
with uploads under these circumstances? I haven't seen any when I searched through personally.

  6. Thanks for the details, I'm understanding a bit more of what you're trying to do. To clarify, were these clips recorded through the Game DVR function of the Xbox App originally or through another means?

The first app I ever used to record game play for Titanfall 2 was nvidia's game shadow (or whatever the recording system is called, I can't remember at this point). After I learned about the recording feature by xbox, I found it easier to use that instead.
The game clips themselves I'm trying to upload was first recorded through the Xbox app, using the Xbox shortcuts that was provided (very difficult considering i use a controller). Other than gameshadow xbox was the only program I used. (sorry it took me a
    while to reply.)

    Thanks,

Are you using the Xbox App or the Xbox App BETA? Can you please take a screenshot for us so we can take a closer look at the error message? If you're not using the BETA version, can you please try downloading that and checking to see if recording a new clip
in Titanfall 2 works for you?

    Let us know!

  9. Unfortunately neither version worked on successfully uploading a clip after recording. I have a set of pictures, one for the non beta error code and four for the beta steps I took and what error code i received in the end.

  10. Thanks for the screenshots! To clarify, when you used the beta app did you try creating a new clip to upload, or did you try to use one that was already made. If you haven't please try to make a new one and let us know how it goes.

  11. I have tried both using an old clip from the original and making a new clip with the beta installed, I still get the same ending results in both occasions. However, the Beta does seem more useful than the original app from what I have seen personally, so
anything from here on out will be attempted with the beta app first unless told otherwise to see if something works. Thanks for your patience.

  12. No problem and thanks for the info,

I'm wondering if there is a problem with the installation of Titanfall 2 that's causing the app to not recognize the game. It may also be a bug with the game and it being able to use the Xbox App functionality. You did also mention that you needed to add
the game manually and so it's very possible that the game isn't supported in the Xbox App as well. What I would do next is try to reinstall a fresh copy from Origin and see if that works with it being recognised. If that doesn't work, contact
EA Support and let them know. It's possible they have a workaround or some other way to verify if this game is compatible with the Xbox App Game DVR function.

Give that a shot and let us know how it goes!

  13. Titanfall 2 game clips not uploading with Windows 10 Game DVR

It doesn't seem to have any problems with the installation of Titanfall 2, however, something caught my eye when I was looking through the games folder again. I can't upload the screenshot I took when I saw this but it just put in the search "titanfall"
under the beta. When results popped up, I saw that the original Titanfall title was under the "PC games" and the "Xbox console games" sub-categories. However, Titanfall 2 was only seen under the "Xbox console games" sub-category. Maybe this is something that
was missed or intentional, but it may be one of the obstacles that we couldn't overcome because the Xbox app didn't recognize Titanfall 2 as a pc game on my computer. I don't know, just something to think about.
