Titainfall is boring

I've watched a few videos on YouTube and TitanFall does look sick, but a few people I know that have played it on XOne have said it gets old quick. Idk I'll probably get it myself when it's available on 360 but what with my friends say about the game and
the fact it's not being made by the same company as the XOne game, gives me pause.

 

I'm interested to see how it plays on the 360. I will be getting myself an Xbox One with Titanfall in a few days, but also plan on buying the game for the 360 as I still have a lot of friends on there.

I enjoy the game quite a bit, I like that you constantly feel rewarded for almost everything you do.

 

It gets old quick if you play it for a day and tell yourself "Yeah, I've experienced all this game has to offer".

The fact is that as you unlock challenges and level up you widen your arsenal.

When you begin for the first time you almost feel like a chicken running around with it's head cut off.

There's grunts, spectres, A.I. Titans, human pilots, human Titans... then you realise different ways you can interact with the environments. Not just creative ways to jump jet / parkour your way around the environment but the Zip Lines, the hacking into
enemy Spectres and the hacking into the auto turrets and who knows what else.

As you use your weapons more you become more proficient with them and get benefits for them.

Same with the Titans and their weapons.

So "gets old quick" is probably code for "I failed to top the leaderboard on my first couple of goes... the game must have a fault".

 

I played this over the weekend for a couple hours at my brothers and truly enjoyed the game. Hopefully it is as good on the 360 next week.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Titanfall. I am by no means the best at it either, but man what a fun game. There is nothing that gets old quick in this game for me, and this is coming from someone who hardly plays competitive multiplay anymore. In my opinion
Titanfall has breathed some new life into a stale and fatigued genre of games.

 

A year ago, if you told me I would be coming home from work every day excited to get on a multiplayer only game, I would have laughed and said you were cute. I played pretty much every MP game there was last gen. But only until I could get whatever achievements
I could unlock easily. Out of all those games, many of which were fun, none of them made me anxious to get home and play. I can't wait to get on Titanfall every day. In fact, writing this post is taking too long. I'm off to go drop my ogre on some dudes.

 

I personally enjoy the game. It's 6v6, but the bots that they added in kind of make it more action packed. I like running around killing the bots and actual players. You get to do a lot and kill a lot in just one match. It's definitely not for everyone though.
If you like single player games or campaign, then Titanfall isn't for you. If you like Online Shooters, then you should give it a try.

 

OP, Titanfall isn't CoD nor any attempt to make it seem like so. The bots are there to serve multiple purposes. Making it 8 vs 8 seems like it would help a bit, but if they raised the team cap to 12, people would begin abandoning the match objectives and
the matches would basically fall apart due to players doing nothing but seeking out other pilots to kill. Hardpoint Domination, have you tried it? You can have 50 kills 0 deaths, but if you're not even attempting to capture and/or hold a point, you'll still
be at the bottom of the scoreboard...if that's your thing.

 

It's not boring. It just doesn't appeal you.

 

maybe the wind is out of your MP sails. It is for me. I'm saving what I have left for Halo 5. After that I think I'm done with MP for good.

Played it yesterday at buddy's, who owns a Xbone...Seems pretty cool. Nice little Halo/CoD hybrid.

Still not sold on buying a Xbone, though.

 

It is boring but you can play jet set radio on titanfall sooo yeah
