BF4, as everyone else is saying is mostly fixed enough to be playable. I couldn't play the game for the first two months and I was a premium subscriber as well. $110 spent and unplayable for the first two months, however I came back to it and am now THOROUGHLY
enjoying it. I mean what else can you do when they already have two class action lawsuits against them.

 

@DopeyS0 Yeah forgot to say they fixed A LOT since launch, should've included that. Also yes indeed EA got a lot of trouble for releasing BF 4 in the state it was.

 

Yet, most of the people wigning about BF4 will line up and pre-order BF5 without hesitation.....and so the cycle will begin again, and again.......

 

I can see the next bf being treated differently my veteran BF players next time in regards to pre ordering

 

Just like COD..people complain and complain and still buy the next one..

 

Hard to picture what a next gen Battlefield will look like. I mean, a proper from the ground up next gen Battlefield.

"we will never see the full potential of this console"... I now know you don't understand how console lifecycles work. Of course it will reach its potential, just like the 360 and PS3 did. They didn't get to where they are now overnight.

Microsoft can ask a game company such as Dice to improve things, but in the end, if Dice want to drag their feet, what do you want Microsoft to do... Cut off support for Battlefield, therefore rendering people's game inoperable? Imagine the uproar if that
happened.

News flash: Launch games have never been particularly special. It takes time to get used to new architecture for Devs. Once a game has been made, if a new improved SDK is released after a certain point, it can't magically be used to "fix" the game that's
already been made. Things will improve, just like they did for the 360 and PS3.

The sooner everyone accepts this, the better.

 

I've noticed these days that when it comes to technology, people have absolutely no patience anymore. If things are at their full potential straight out of the box all hell breaks loose. Personally I'm glad that this console has room for improvement. Otherwise
nothing would get better than it is now. As for the whole battlefield thing. If you think that it's only glitchy and unfinished on xbox, then you are sorely mistaken. I have it on pc and I have friends who have it on ps4 and it's just as bad on both of those
as well. The is a dice/EA problem. Not a Microsoft one.

 

I was getting a bit bored as well, and I hate switching over to my 360 everytime I want watch an HD movie from Netflix or Xbox video. (360 has better sound and STILL streams faster) and the youtube app works better. Finished Ryse and got bored with Forza's
touchiness in the bends. 20mph turns in a Ferrari? Battlefield was my go to game and the stupid single player game got erased on me SIX TIMES. Multiplayer started getting worse and worse frame rates and texture drop in. Felt like I was on 360.

I did get the Ps4 and I'll tell you what... not too bad at all. With a ps plus membership and a Vita you can actually have a great experience. The ps4 and Vita make a nice pair. When the family is using the tv i just play my Ps4 using my vita. Lacking
aaa titles over there, but I've been quite happy with the freebies and cheap indie games which there are a ton of. Microsoft should look into the handheld arena or someway of playing the x1 on the go.

I have a PS4 as well, and I am pleasantly suprised at how smooth

 

Yeah I really thought there would be more games out of the starting gate, Crazy hey? I guess Im asking too much for some of the BIG name Developers to fill in the gaps, we should have had a GTA V Xbox One Title with a 360 version. Bethesda should have had
something also, THIS is the time for these people to come through, instead its an empty dark place with a half dozen games that are not even worth the Hardware they are copied to.

 

I guess its a good thing I made sure I'd like the games on Xbox One before I purchased the console.

 

I find netflix on the X1 buffers to HD much faster than the 360 at least for me.
