Tired of Xbox Fitness Crashing

This App has never been updated since launch, that I can recall. This app was also one of the biggest reason my wife let me purchase the Xbox One, and continue to use it.

The Main issues that we have with the App are:

• Crashing- The app will crash in the middle of a workout/session and not save your progress or the challenges you unlocked. Other times it may crash at the end of the workout not keep tracking of the challenges you unlocked.
  
• Streaming-It's fine to stream a workout that you try for the first time, but when you use it the second time or third time it should prompt you to store it locally.
  
• Kinect- At times the kinect does not recognize certain actions properly and will score poorly because of that.
  
• Heart Rate Tracking- it takes too long for the app to get a heart rate. As you are prompted in most workouts to keep moving during breaks.
  
• Catalog- The ability to mark your favorite workouts to access them quickly. Some of the terminology is very confusing regarding what is available to me as an Xbox Love Gold Member and what is not.
  

I have attempted to troubleshoot the app crashing but to no avail. Troubleshooting has included:

1. Disabling Resume Game Quickly from settings
2. Being sure to "quit" the app at the end of a workout session
3. And everyones favorite, a full power down of the system.

Hopefully there are others that use this app, that may be experiencing similar issues or would like to see some major improvements to this app, as it is a great gateway to introduce people to gaming and the Xbox Platform as a whole.

Xbox Fitness issues

I can't even get it to run after the update. I starting to grow tired of the Xbone I just want what we have to work. Fitness needed less crashing not more.

 

Xbox Fitness Crashes Mid Workout

I just did a factory reset on my xbox. Installed xbox fitness beta and it is still crashing.

 

For me, even after update of today, app load but after the main screen appear, before I select any workout, it crashes to home.

 

So it appears a small update was applied this morning to Xbox Fitness. It has made it UNUSABLE. Keep in mind I am in the preview program and using the current 1404 build of the OS.

The app would act like it was opening, so it would show the Legal warning, then tell me my Kinect can not be found, then the app would restart and continue in this cycle, till go back home.

Again this app, is a great way to introduce people to Xbox as a platform for ONE stop entertainment, but if an app that someone uses every morning, stops responding, it will change their minds about the app.

I'm having issues with crashing as well. Usually it happens at the end of a workout when instead of loading the progress/summary screen, it crashes to home page. This morning it crashed to home page mid workout. Lost all progress towards achievements as
well as stamps.

 

I'm also having this problem getting tired of it. I've tried unplugging it and uninstalling it but nothing seems to fix it. They need to come with a patch for this app soon.

 

Its gotten better, but still seems to need some work. The app told me it couldn't connect to the internet, but my internet was fine.

 

I love when Kinect is tracking you doing floor exercises like, say, situps, and you simply DISAPPEAR from the tracking box and you lose points.
