Tired of Updates

Just as the title say's I am so sick and tired of a new update every week or in some cases it seams to be every other day. I understand that you are doing them to improve the Xbox live experience and to give gamer's more but I am just tired of them. I work
about 75 hours a week seven days a week, At the end of each day I am left with 4 hours to myself. Three of them are used doing everyday things such as cleaning, laundry and such so it really starts to get annoying to turn on my Xbox and find it needs a update
so damn often. each time it take the entire free time I have to play. Seriously? I have been a long time Xbox live vet and have always loved it but this is starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth and has me questioning should I stay or go. I bought my Xbox
to play it not watch it update!

I've posted this before when there was 5 updates a week, and got no satisfactory answer. But I am extremely upset that I keep getting kicked out of online games with prompt, "Time to update". Then have to wait the 20 min to install/apply. I want to quit
this stupid early access program, what good is it really, but it says it will delete all hard drive...which all I have is digital games???!!!

Is there any way to make this at least stop kicking me out of online games? Or if someone from xbox reads this please fix.

Are you in the preview program? That'll make it update much more than normal.

 

Set your console to instant on mode. The updates will run when you're not using the console and you'll never notice them.

 

Set your console to instant on mode and you will never see an update again or at least rarely see one.

 

Use instant on mode and it will update automatically when you're not playing.
