Tired of play with pride

I am not gay so unless you make up some hetero pride emblems stop assuming I am gay. My best friend is gay and 2 other friends but I am not gay. You put it up on the home page as if I am and so is everybody else. It, like all of your irrelevant ads, are
terrible at understanding "SHOW LESS LIKE THIS" option being selected. I think it's awesome you are being supportive of people and value inclusion in such hatful times but at least respect the fact that this is not at all related to me personally. I also
don't feel anyone needs to be advertising anything regarding sex/sexual preference on a video game console, gay or not. Unless it is my partner there is nobody that needs to know that stuff. Just my 2 cents. And to be fair the facebook ad on the home screen
was far more annoying. Showing me 1 time is enough. If I am interested, say, like if I was gay, I would go and check the stuff out. However, I am not gay so please stop with the numerous repeating ads for being gay when I click "show less like this". My
friend thought the idea was cool . He also thought it was odd I was spammed with it from microsoft after putting "show less like this". I told him other examples of how xbox ignores our responses always and he was surprised at how bad xbox programming was
in 2020. I only mentioned it to the one friend this morning.

I also wonder, why is there no pride in playing if you are not gay. I understand you're going for inclusion but keep in mind that the focus is still on separatism. For many this will imply if you are not gay that you are inferior because it is pride if
gay. We are all human and labels cause division much more often than not. Once you label me, you negate me.

I just want everybody to be civil online. I'd prefer to always be matched up with challenging foes or awesome teammates on xbox that are respectful on mic and/or in game chat. I don't believe in any ads like this but I am all for harsher penalties for
people that are rude, curse, harass, troll, insult, cheat, and people not feel welcomed. One of the few things cool about Xbox to me is that I get to meet and play with so many people of different ages from all over the world. All people should be welcomed
and treated with respect unless they give you strong reason otherwise. And if and when that happens, just block them and if needed/warranted report them to xbox.

I disagree with this sentiment. Pride is about a lot more than just the gay community. By being vocally and visibly supportive of pride, it's a massive gesture towards the LGBTQ communities that they are welcome, that this should be a safe space for them,
that this is a place where abuse against the LGBTQ communities should not be tolerated. It is not even remotely close to suggesting that we are inferior if we're not part of the LGBTQ communities. I'm a straight male, I'm happy to see Play with Pride. I'm
not black, I'm happy to see Black Lives Matter. I stand by those sentiments, and I'm glad that we're seeing clear support.

This is not separation. This is inclusion. The members comprising of the various LGBTQ communities have faced abuse offline and online for as long as I can remember. This sign of support is a step towards stamping that out, and I welcome it.

Every company wants to show they are inclusive to all categories but by saying they are inclusive to a certain category they are not being inclusive to the ones they don't mention. It's getting very silly.

Silly is putting it mildly. All are welcome! That is so much easier. Otherwise rotate every week or even day for anyone that feels separate. News flash, we are not and will never be separate.

You aren't wrong there and those are great "build your character" games, but I'd love to see a game like the Witcher 3 where the character is written as gay. I agree with the debate about Geralt being written as heterosexual. Writer's prerogative. Great
game none the less. What I find problematic is that it's acceptable to do that with a heterosexual character, but it would be an outrage if the main character was written exclusively as a gay man, GOTY or not.

Your never going to get a “triple A” game with LGBT characters and the reason for this is they form a minority in the grand scheme of things. Why would you spend millions on a game to sell it to an audience of so few.

have you played Mass Effect, Skyrim or Fallout 4?

LGBT characters have been in games for years.

gaming by its very nature is inclusive so it is only natural for it to support minorities who feel excluded in the real world.
