Tips on fixing xbox one controller for liquid damage

Well clumsy me has just spilled coffee on my xbox one controller and now it's going haywire on the dashboard basically the Dpad and analog stick moving by its self. I've opened it up and cleaned it but I'm thinking it's more circuit board damage. Any tips
on repair or it's done?

id just cut my loss and replace it with a new one and buy a warranty.

This happened to mine and it was the worst, honestly all you can do is leave it to dry out for a few days and if it hasn't improved then you might just have to invest in a new controller.

Probably not want you wanted to hear lol.

The one tip I will give you is dont ever power on something that is electronics while its still could be wet. It causes shorts and even if you have someone professional repairing something they would not be able to trace all those shorts through the circuit
board. Most repair shops wouldn't even work on it if it had liquid damage just because of that.

I would let it sit for a couple of days. If you've already opened the controller up, then leave it open so it can dry out fully. It can take 2+ days for the liquid inside to completely dry. I would use another controller for the next 2-3 days and then
try again. Good luck!
