Tip to escape max level police for the ACT IV mission

What won't work effectively on this mission:

CTOS Jammer ability

Black Out ability (The only use for this is to avoid being detected from the informed citizens in the street because they will call the police early thanks to Damien's leak.)

What you will need:

A fast vehicle like a motorcycle/sports/performance car (you can find one of these parked along the street after the cut scene with Damien.)

Grenade launcher to one hit kill the van

Helicopter hack maxed out (highly recommended)

Train Hack (recommended)

You may use the jammers in case the TV Van chase down lasts longer than intended. (it will only buy you sometime until you have exhausted your supply)

So basically what you need to do is find and destroy the van as fast as possible. After that set your way point to the nearest train station. If the train happens to be leaving when you arrive simply hack it and then board it. The chopper should still be
chasing you but don't worry. After you reach the next stop quickly hop out of the train and hack the helicopter (the hack will delay the chopper for up to 30 seconds if you have the ability maxed out.) Get right back into the train and ride it until you're
out of the chase boundary.

I have finished it and didn't know there were timed missions...

Here is a little tip, if you get into a car chase and cant shake the Police, jump in a boat, hack the chopper and sail into the sunset for a hassle free escape!

Havent got pass Act 3 yet so thanks for the tip. Is it not possible to just out run the cops after you destroy the van? Also I thought fast travel on the L was unavailable if being pursued?

 

It might be possible to escape a chase that way but it's hard because it's the max wanted level and the police are very aggressive if they are close to you. In this mission you can't avoid the scans with the jammer because the police keep sending them. Also
since you cant shoot back the only way to lose them is to use the environment abilities to disable the police cruisers as well as avoid being spotted by the helicopter otherwise the chase will last a long time. You can't fast travel on the train but you can
ride the train to get away from the police cruisers and once you do that you can hack the helicopter to safely escape.

 

best wat to escape is on the train period, u can't use fast travel on L Train but u can hack it an just ride it tho

 

The train is how I normally escape pursuits.

 

I managed to escape the cops in car..... Well, actually 2 car's as one got destroyed. Had to run for a while to find a new car but i managed to get away by using environment hacks and pure speed.

 

^^ same except I used two bikes.

 

I always go for the nearest body of water get in a boat head away from land and shoot the chopper, never fails, i really really recommend grinding for the destroyer sniper (crim convoys) and the silenced grem for missions and gang hideouts the sniper takes
out fire trucks with 1 shot lol, and doesent kill the occupants, been a life/timesaver so many times.

 

Yea I got the achievement for evading 5 star police chase by just jumping in the river and hiding under a bridge until the helicopter left then jumping in a boat.

 

I jump into the canal when ever I can an make a quick escape on a fast boat!!
