timing out

    so I play smite and I'm having an issue where I keep timing out for a few seconds and then I'm sent to the main screen. Now for anyone who doesn't play this game when you're picking a character and it does that you get a deserter penalty. I'm currently ban
    for 1 hour right now because this has happened twice. Most things I've read stated I need to make a static ip and port forward. I have Comcast and it uses ivp4 and 6 and the tutorials do not show anything on how to make the static ip with this or I'm just
    stupid. I'm hoping I can find someone to help me with this I really am sick of not being able to play the game because of these small time outs.

    Could you be a little more specific how you have set up Port Forwarding.

    Since you are using Port Forward, could you make sure UPnP is turned off. Some router have this feature turned on as default. UPnP and Port Forward should be used
    separately.

    If you are using a wireless connection, are you able to try a wired connection to determine if the problem still persists.

    Timing out every 50 minutes

    I had this issue about 6 months ago and managed to solve but cannot remember how I did it. Basiclly what I believe is happening is my router is assigning the IP address of the Xbox to another device on my network causing me to be disconected. I had set my
    Xbox to use .15 but it was instead using .6 which is the same IP as my Macbook.

    What Country/State/Province do you live in? United Kingdom

    Modem brand & model number: Belkin F5D8236-4v1

    Router brand & model number:

    If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter? Xbox 360S

    Things you have tried:

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes

    Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT? Strict, the ! actually appears like this: Xbox 360 ..... FamilyWifi ..!.. Internet ..... Xbox Live

    Any Error Codes you encounter:

    Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Virgin Media

    After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)

    W: 0000 - 0021

    X: 0000 - 000D

    Y: 20A8 - 4800

    Z: 0000 - 0000

    ID: FFFF - FFFF

    L: 0015 - 10F0

    Q: 801C - 274C

    T: Wireless

    This game is still fairly new to the Xbox One community. Being free to play I assume they are struggling to keep up with the demand of the xbox players on their servers. I personally play this game and can tell you that you are not alone in the disconnects
    between zones. However I have seen a drastic improvement in the number of disconnects. I hope that you didn't drop this game as a lost cause and will come back and try it out again.

    I’m sorry to hear you’re having some trouble when trying to play with your friends on Minecraft. Let’s try to sort this out.

    However, before that, I would like to ask some questions:
    Are you playing on Xbox, PC or mobile phone?
    Are you able to play more games with your friends, or is Minecraft the only game affected?
    Would like I know if tried connecting your device to a different source of internet, like a mobile hotspot via Wi-Fi connection?

    Additionally, I appreciate it if you can tell me what’s your NAT type.
