Timing of releasing games on the store

I applaud the recent changes made to the store allowing online pre order and download. I am surprised by how long it took to make this feature available, but I'm grateful none the less. There is one issue that remains unaddressed with this feature. The fact
that while people who pre order a disc copy will be able to play when they get home, the rest of us who prefer to buy digitally must wait to play until the server says its 12:01 A.M. Unfortunately for those of us on the eastern half of the U.S, as well as
any other countries or territories using this same clock, we must wait until it is 2:01 or even 3:01. Perhaps longer in certain parts of the world. Why is this necessary? Isn't it possible to determine the customers location and use that? If there is a desire
to push toward all digital and do away with the physical, the digital needs to be better in every way. While pre-downloading is a step in the right direction, any benefit it provides is completely negated by the fact that we have to wait for this all powerful
system clock to say its time. I understand the apprehension for the system to use the consoles clock as it can be manipulated, but isn't there some way to make this work? Any official feedback would be tremendous.

Timing of games

You have me playing the Microsoft solitaire collection challenges for almost 10 hours. My computer was off for about 7 1/2 hours. I've been playing for only about 50 minutes. Plus keep getting cutoff. Do you count the ads while playing the challenges?
I enjoy the games and challenges but you are making me look like a dope. 13 challenges in 9 hours..why bother.

 

Battlefield 3 'Armored Kill' DLC Out Sept. 4

Seriously, I do question their timing on releasing this DLC. Right AFTER a main holiday, where lots of folks get a 3 day weekend, for their largest segment, North America? Really?

 

You won't get official feedback. It is set like that because Microsoft is based in the Pacific timezone.

 

If you are referring to Destiny, Bungie isn't turning the servers on until 3am.
