    Timestamp of last update 01/01/1601: possible firmware corrupted?


    Hello, 5 games (now 6, "Shadow Of Tomb Raider" on Digital too) don't start me and go back immediately to the Dashboard after initial screen. Timestamp of my last Update reports the date 01/01/1601: it's normal or probably the firmware is corrupted and
    this would explain the unusual behavior of this games (others 11 title start correctly)... Many thanks.

    If you're taking the route of performing a factory reset while keeping your games & apps installed. Make sure that you know your email address and password for your account before hand, as the reset will remove your profile from the system.

    Hey Alex,

    Thank you for responding. We understand your games have been crashing immediately after launch and it seems this is attributed to the current firmware on your console. If you haven't already done so, go ahead and try performing a factory reset on your console.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.
    3. Select Reset console.

    You will be given two options, choose to "keep my games and apps." This will save you the hassle of redownloading everything. Let us know how your games react once everything is back up and running. Cheers :D

    Yes, of course, it's the first thing I did but if my firware is corrupted or another problem it's not enough to re-install a game...
