Timer on Xbox one

Discus and support Timer on Xbox one in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; please could someone from Microsoft tell me why the timer that worked so beautifully on the 360 was not put onto the One - and is there any likelihood...     please could someone from Microsoft tell me why the timer that worked so beautifully on the 360 was not put onto the One - and is there any likelihood that it will be, or is there one on it that I can't find?.

    The timer made my son think, use his time wisely ie when his friends were on line; when timer ran out he accepted it far more easily than he does when I go in ant ask him to switch it off because times up He could have extra time as a reward for chores,
    good behaviour etc it worked for him and me..

    now, I feel I have to constantly monitor him to ensure he's not on it all day, and forever moaning at him to get other things done

    Please can we have a timer on the Xbox one please please

    Xbox One Sleep Timer

    So like many, I like to fall asleep with the television on. This was never a problem before I ran my TV through Xbox One, as I set the sleep timer on my Samsung TV, and it obviously eventually went off. Now, with Xbox One, I can still set the sleep timer on my TV, and the TV will of course still shut off, but the Xbox One will remain on all night. Anyway to prevent this? I see that it has an inactivity feature where it will turn off after a certain amount of inactivity, but having the TV on screen does not count as inactivity. I fall asleep, and my Xbox just runs all night.

    There is no family timer feature in XBOX One like there was in 360. I encourage all that want this feature to speak up using the XBOX feedback and suggestion site:
