    Time Warner Cable box resolution keeps changing


    I just got Time Warner and with the box hooked up to the Xbox the resolution changes from 720p to 480p then back again. The picture also freezes for a second or two when it happens. It doesn't happen when my cable box is hooked up to the TV. It's pretty
    annoying and I'm hoping there's a fix since all my HDMI ports are being used. My box model is the Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4240hdc.

    Resolution fluctuates while watching TV

    I am having a problem where the resolution keeps fluctuating from 1080i to 480p on my cable box (Time Warner) and it is causing the feed to skip/pause for a second while it adjusts and it's very annoying. Does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks.

    XBOX One is INCOMPATIBLE with TIME WARNER CABLE!?

    I have a Samsung box from Time Warner, to get it to work enter "Time Warner Cable" when it asks you which type of box it is, then select "Time Warner" and it worked perfect for me.

    Hi, I am not familiar with the Time Warner boxes at all but I wonder if you are able to set the box to fix its output resolution. It may be set to auto and therefore is trying to sense what resolution the xbox will accept. If you can configure your Time
    Warner box to 720p then this may fix the issue.

    I have it set to 720p and not auto. I actually changed the HDMI cord and for now it has stopped.
