    Time Trials


    What are people’s views on Time Trials in open world games. Good or bad? Like them or hate them?

    Time Trials on things like racing games are common normally, its about finding your line on the road, knowing when to break and what corners you can cut etc it takes skill to find ways to shave time off a lap etc.

    however time trials in open world games annoy me i have been playing American fugitive and doing the time trials on that, its more about luck sometimes, other cars getting in hour way, or a train cutting across in front of you that just happens to be at
    that point of the map at that time. Its down to luck of what the “world” is doing when you activate a time trial.

    Yea I don't really like that myself I understand time trials on a track environment but I fell like open world time trials are a bit too much
