Time to update (Preview Programme)

Hi,

I left the preview programme back in June and haven't got an update since then.

When I try to load certain apps/games I get a screen saying " it's time to update" and then a screen straight away saying "there was a problem with the update".

I have tried everything from an offline update, factory reset and deleting everything offf my xbox.

An xbox support advisor has tried and failed to help me with this problem and thinks that the problem may be because of the preview programme.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? Would being invited back into the preview programme fix this?

Updates

Now is the time for you to unenroll from the preview programme KIRu8 if you feel you are getting too many updates.

The programme is obviously not for you.

Just use the preview dashboard app to unenroll and after the March update goes public you'll be back to one update a month.

The preview for March is very near a public release, that's why I suggested you maybe should decide now.

You're not alone in not realising there are many frequent daily updates in the preview programme.

You can un-enrol on your Xbox, by going to the Xbox Preview Dashboard app and un-enrolling from the preview updates. This will only change to stop the updates once the current update wave has ended.

Just tried my old games, seems I cant get updates for games either.

Sorry you're having issues updating your console. It sounds more like you're console is having a problem applying the most recent update, than something that would be caused by the Preview Program. Try following the

System Update Solution. Also, I understand you've done the Offline Update Solution, but if you run through the troubleshooter to that point, I would recommend doing it again. If you're still having issues after both of those you may want to send your Xbox
in for repairs using this link.
