Time to throw in the towel if your over 25!

its only a very small edge you lose as you get older.but a 40year-old who plays often will beat a 20 year-old who does not.the 20year -old would have small edge in reaction time as the science explains but the 40year-old who puts in more practice on a paticular
game will have a huge edge.

lets say a60 year -old has played the last 5 fifa games and played for 500 hours and he plays 10 games against a 23 year-old who is playing fifa for the first time and has put in 50 hrs of play.the 60 year-old will win 9 games out of 10 because the small
edge the younger guy has in reaction time is overcome by the more experianced player who will have better tactics stratergy and knowladge of the game and practice.

so yes its true what they say but its pointless as they could just say the more you play the better you get.

 

Depends what you play, children will always win on cod because they tend to be the campers.

Bit diffrent but i had a go in a F1 simulator on the weekend!

im 36 and came 2nd out of around 100 people and most were younger than me.

I put it down to all the hours spent on the diffrent racing games over the years.

 

Sir! That's a pretty sweet place to say there was 100 players. Now if that was me, I would of totally caused some sort of pile up just for the lolz!

TROLL, I like to camp in games like CoD. I win many games when I camp. Gone are the MW2 days were scavenger would replenish infinite claymores. I have to up my game and actually make an effort in todays CoDs.

potts, agreed. I mean I would 'never' say that gamers should ever put down a pad due to their age. I will never give up gaming because its been a life long hobby but I understand that I will get less responsive as time goes on. Makes it all the more challenging

Ah see that right there would be a loss for me. I heavily rely on other cars to take my corners lol! I would say 2nd place is still winning dude! Especially out of 100!

 

Nah just the fastest loser in my book but it was fun.

And i got free beer so that was a bonus;-)

I know the felling. I used to be really good at Fifa and Cod now days I can hardly get kills on cod and win on fifa. Or is it just where the game have got bad.

 

@ cloudstrife the f1 sim was on the haven park were we have are static caravan.

And they were giving prizes for 1st'2nd'and 3rd.

1st prize was 2 tickets to silverstone for the f1

2nd prize was free beer card for the weekend

And 3rd prize was a free family meal at the mash and barrel(the camps bar/resturant)

So yeah wish i had won but still very fun weekend and free beer is always good

Not as good as going to watch the racing but never mind

 

Well I seem to be getting progressively worse at 'Trials' - not sure if it's an age thing though..
