TIME TO SWITCH TO PLAYSTATION4!

As way too many paying customers have found, Microsoft xBox employees are drunk with power when it comes to implementing bans.

I thought long and hard about it yet I can clearly state (as can years of the same friends on xBox validate) I have never used abusive communication ..... yet I was banned. Have I reported inappropriate actions that clearly violate the COC they wrote? Absolutely.
But that is few and far between AND not a reason for crippling a paying cu$tomer$ account. I followed the rules yet I'm receiving a punishment.

No communication, no reason, just done. For a company that claims they want to have clear and polite communication this is the old proverb,"Do as I say and not as I do" garbage.

I formulated and submitted a rebuttal that was promptly ignored. Instead they sent out a generic message unrelated to my rebuttal or the reason why this happened (autobot).

I am a 55 year old gamer and father of 5 gamers. I have purchased 5 360s, 4 xBox ones and 3 xBox one S. I have poured thousand of dollars into the purchase of games, headsets and accessories too. Heed my warning Microsoft, continue down this intrepid dark
path and the masses that fund your company WILL leave and take their friends and monies elsewhere.

After all folks, if they didn't create enough bans, valid or fictional Microsoft could terminate those excess, waste-of-monies position/employees!

I'm going to play devil's advocate for a moment and ask if they gave you any reason for WHY the ban was put in place, not as a way to be argumentative but as a way to try to understand why it might have happened. I will say this, you are going to be sorely
disappointed if you think switching to Sony's online service is going to be better than Live, having used both services overall I have been happier and felt that Live has always been more transparent and secure.

Chances are also it could have been an inexperienced employee who issued the ban when it wasn't appropriate, but without more info it'll be hard for most of us to give you some input.

 

Playstation even worse with the banning. They ban ppl with names that are offensive like your real name. They've been ppl that even talked bad about Playstation. You're best off with pc my dude

 

Thanks Saeleth, I understand and in fact I would ask the same question. As mentioned in the initial post,"No communication, no reason, just done." I find THIS to be the most insulting and frustrating part. The blase and even flippant arrogant attitude without
stating a reason, initially and even after I requested why.

To not explain why a punishment is issued is not acceptable.

Sony Play Station 4 is an amazing product. Millions agree. Look at the market shares for the two companies. Sony consistently increases as "another" companies customers base dwindles for 7 consecutive years. And that is with their inferior yet viable gaming
and chat network.

Microsoft can build great products and services but when they arrogantly abuse power to revoke services without explaining their actions or returning fees, they risk beginning a sharp and ugly spiral downward that takes a company (and their $tock) years
to recover from if that.

Lets see how long this post remains before M scrubs it from their servers. IF that happens I'll launch this and more to larger venues of the masses on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube ........

Bottom line? I would appreciate a transparent reason behind their actions instead of boilerplate fodder. Wouldn't you?
