    How can I time limit my childrens usage if xbox please? Microsoft family safety does not seem to allow it.

    It's not just for show, apparently it goes slower than hardcore mode but it's serious lol. You can check the other timer thread as well. I was just having a good time searching for collectibles and BAM! Time was up, lol.

    In all the reviews I've read and in the wikis it says there is no time limit in story mode.

    Problem is i'm in story mode and there is a time counting down. I currently have over 5 hours left.

    So I tried starting hardcore mode and again that start with about 6 hours.

    So both story mode and hardcore mode do seem to have timers with about 6 hours.

    So is the timer in story mode just for show or do I really only have about 6 days left?

    There is currently no family timer on the Xbox One console. Be sure to head over to the >>Xbox Feedback<< site and search for the feature and vote for it. If you don't find anything

    You might br able to do it by way of the router, but that would limit connectivity to the xbox as a whole.
