Discus and support Time limits or autosave & shut down? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Is there a way to auto save & shutdown the xbox console or xbox live at a certain time?     Is there a way to auto save & shutdown the xbox console or xbox live at a certain time? My son had a bad habit of sneaking in after bedtime. Thanks!

    Xbox Achievement Question

    Pretty much as stated above, sorry but no. Some Achievements are also on a time limit or more accurately a date limit. Once a Server for any Game has been shut no, no Online Achievements are possible.

    Time limits or autosave & shut down?

    Unfortunately the Xbox one does not support such a feature, unlike the Xbox 360. Have you set up prental controls for your son's account?

    An alternative would be to remove the power supply or even just the power cord.

    Don't forget your firewall and what it can do. It may well have block specific services and schedule these as you please.

    Don't forget your firewall and what it can do. It may well have block specific services and schedule these as you please.

    Check if there is a "flashing icon" in the top left/right of your screen. That's a "autosave icon". I believe the game warned you that NFSTR uses autosave and that you must wait for it to finish before shutting off the game.

    I wouldn't suggest FarCry 4 because you can only rely on unreliable autosaves and there can be a long mission that could easily exceed an hour. Very frustrating for those that have limited time.
