time is calculated wrong

I've written down all the times of each games for today's round.(Freecell). When I make the total of my times, I have solved all games in 37 minutes and 38 seconds. When I look to the classification I have solved the games in 3 hours, 2 minutes and 25 seconds.
This is not correct. How is it possible I have such difference?

Tenure Change

Originally, the program which calculated tenure counted Silver time, but the definition of tenure was

a) Gold time plus

b) time before there was Gold (before 2005 I think).

They noticed the program was calculating the time wrong, and fixed it.

I'm having the same issue but worse. I did a few challenges this morning, my total time was around ~12 minutes. I come back this evening (the app hasn't been running) and my time is over 7 hours. This is a pretty egregious bug for a style of play (event)
that ranks based on time. I assume this is some issue (as mentioned elsewhere) where there's a server issue with what "counts" as time and what doesn't, but still, 7 hours? This is far beyond adding a few seconds during ads or "loading" times.

 

I have had the same issue . More than once my events time has been over 7 hours, when I did not play that long. I leave with about 45 minutes on the clock, and when I come back there is over 7 hours. While it's nice to see that I am not the only one with
this problem, I wish there was a way to complain to xbox/microsoft directly.

 

This time bug has been out there and I have been complaining about it for a year or more, as have many, many, many other players. When you are away from the game, even if you have exited from the game and even slept your PC, the time of your absence is
added into your time score. In my game just now, this booted me from a Top 5 score down to 22nd place. This seems to happen not immediately on your return, but after the first or second game you complete after the return.

This would be a nice time for the "new Microsoft" who are responsive to customer satisfaction issues to show up. Let's see if they care...
