Tile/Icon/Art missing

I am in Richmond, VA, only use my machine for video, and have rebuilt it from scratch twice already.

Under video/tv apps, I do not have different art for Amazon, FXX and HBO - they all show the same tile, something like xbox360 live, white with green -and it makes it very had to chose. Machine apps - like media player and Windows Media Center - do have
different art.

The 'purchased apps' no longer have correct tile art.

I see numerous threads discussing this problem with no solutions, but lots of misdirection.

Please supply resolution.

Thumbnails from game library missing

I'm also having this issue. First it started with some games showing the generic xbox live covert art with green swirl while other games' art loads up fine. Clearing the system cache may it somewhat worse as now instead of the generic cover art, I get
the missing art icon on some games but not others. Also after clearing system cache, the missing cover art is on different games than before where as it used to have cover art. I don't think its related to delisted games because the games showing missing
cover art are still being sold such as ducktales:remastered and castle crashers.

 

Bug report - missing Tile art when moving games to external HDD

I've found a pretty annoying bug involving tile art that I haven't seen reported anywhere. This is NOT about blank tiles but about missing assets on tiles.

Games affected include: Rare Replay, Gears of War 4, Gears of War Ultimate, Sunset Overdrive (& probably more)

Steps:

1. Install one of the games above on to your internal drive.

2. Hook up and format an external HDD for use with games.

3. "Move all" to the external HDD for one (or all) of the games on the above list.

*** Result: The TILE for the game in your games list will now be MISSING its foreground asset:

Rare Replay: "R" artwork still appears on the white background will appear, but the gold banner with "Rare Replay" will be missing.

Sunset Overdrive: The colorful montage art still appears on the title, but the actual game title art, "Sunset Overdrive"in red/black lettering, is missing.

Gears of War 4 or Ultimate: The artwork appears on the tile, but will be missing the games' stylistic titles.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game can fix this bug in some cases, but it seems an unnecessarily time-consuming fix for this problem.

Yes, that is one of the "numerous threads discussing this problem with no solutions, but lots of misdirection" and why I cincluded my region and steps so far.

This is not a solution, just more misdirection.

Please supply resolution.

 

As stated, you need to keep an eye on that thread for further updates. There are troubleshooting steps that you should try. If they do not work for you, please post in that thread. Thanks for understanding.
