Tiitanfall a reason to change consoles?

@Lord Dirt, I got an Xbox one at launch since I liked the Xbox 360 and original, but until titanfall there were no games I wanted on it, so I was looking forward to a game I wanted to play. Also not liking some of the features of the Xbox one, so not being
able to play a game after preordering it was rather annoying. Been able to actually play today though so I may keep it for now.

 

The works fine just played a few rounds this morning.

 

I had Xbox one since New Year's Day. And figured hey I don't have many games let me get it- was not super excited when I first saw trailers. The beta felt like cod so figured I would buy it while I wait for quantum break. With my time so far it is fun with
a group. But I don't know if it's a system seller(not mentioning the bundle). If you are buying Xbox for the first time - no pc and no 360 then maybe. But if you have one of the others then I don't think so. People are better off just keeping the other versions.

With all that said- if anyone would like to add me please do maybe I will feel better about it once I get some people to play with.

 

The same reasons that Mykhale got a Xbox1 at launch is why I didn't. No problems yet but I don't trust this Box yet.

 

i would never use a single game to justify ditching a platform.

titanfall does have major connectivity issues, thats no doubt. after almost every round, i lose connection but thats not down to the console and i bet if titanfall were on PS4 then they would suffer the same issues

 

Have been playing this game on Xbox One for hours and have yet to drop from a game.

 

I bought the Titanfall Xbox One bundle and I'm kind of regretting it now. The game is OK but not worth $500. So much hype about the Xbox One and I keep finding things that worked better on the 360. Now I wish I'd have just purchased the 360 version of
Titanfall and continued to wait until the Xbox One matures.

 

No single game is worth $500. The Titanfall bundle just helped tip the scale as I would have bought the xbox one before too long for other upcoming games.

And in my opinion Titanfall runs smoother on the xbox one than pc so I almost regret I bought the pc version as well.

We've already mentioned this in our UK top 20 charts post, but in case you missed it there, here it is again because it's worth noting. Titanfall has helped boost Xbox One sales by a massive 96% in the UK, with the shiny new Titanfall console bundle accounting
for 70% of Xbox One hardware sold last week.

Predictably, Titanfall is this week's best-selling game in the UK and the biggest release of 2014 to date, doubling sales of FIFA 14, which had been the previous sales leader for the year according to Chart-Track. Digital sales of Titanfall aren't included
in the figures, as Chart-Track doesn't take them into account. However the download voucher included in the Titanfall Xbox One bundle are included in these numbers.

Titanfall is also EA's first non-FIFA UK chart number one since Crysis 3 back in March 2013. And in other UK chart news that you might have missed, Dark Souls II took number one in the Xbox 360 charts, beating its predecessor's launch week sales by 20%.

hey OP, don't get rid of your XB1....just save a few bucks here and there and buy a PS4 you'll be glad you did....the PS4 is a great console, and in a year or so when the actual GOOD titles start coming out, there are exclusives you won't want to miss on
both consoles

Same here. I bought it just after midnight on launch day in the UK via Xbox Live, it downloaded in 43 minutes, and I have not had a single disconnection or seen any lag whatsoever. The ping to the nearest European server is always around 20-24ms too, so
that's nice and low.

Maybe different regions had issues, and I know there were issues for a few hours just after the US launch, but I've never played a popular online mutliplayer game on a console that has worked as well as this at launch before.
