Tier 2 Kits

I think the tier 2 kit options are a bit lacking in comparision to tier 1.

I find minion dectector to be the most useful. Also the warpfall trasmitter and gaurdian chip are also good choices (evrn though the gaurdian chip is unlocked far to late to be useful if your regenerating).

I dont see dome shield battery or ice pick bieng of any value (unless the extend the time it takes to hack without icepick).

Dead mans switch could be useful in hardpoint but it seems far to situational to be really useful.

Campaign Suit Modules

As you begin Crysis 3, you’ll most likely want to know the most effective way to play through the game. Keep in mind that how you play through the game will affect how you suit is upgraded. The upgrades available for the campaign mode and fairly different from the upgrades that are available for the multiplayer mode.

The primary method for upgrading your Nanosuit in the campaign mode is through CELL stockpiles that are located throughout the game. Once you open the Nanosuit menu, you can apply each kit to unlock new Suit Modules. You may have to invest up to 3 kits before you can unlock certain Suit Modules. In order to upgrade an unlocked suit module, you’ll be required to carry out certain tasks. Each Suit Module can be upgraded for maximum effect by completing these tasks.

As you play, you’ll learn that each module will affect your Nanosuit’s capabilities. Each Suit Modules is classified under a specific type that will help you discern which statistics on your Nanosuit the module will increase. Keep in mind that you can only have four modules equipped at one time. However, you can change out module combinations by assigning up to three module packages to a button. In addition, each module is assigned a one of four tiers that cannot be modified.

Super Stealth:

Allows 50% faster cloaking as well as 50% increase to scanner resistance. Also highlights enemy footprints. Bonuses can be increased to 75%.

Type: Stealth

Tier: 1

To Unlock: 1 Kit

To Upgrade: Remain cloaked near enemies for 100 seconds​
Endurance:

Allows 33% longer sprint time as well as hydro thrusters. This can be increased to 50% longer sprint time.

Type: Speed

Tier: 1

To Unlock: 2 Kits

To Upgrade: Sprint 3000 meters and swim 1000 meters. ​
Brute Force:

Allows 25% stronger power kicks and unlocks Air Stomp. The ranged can be increased by 25%.

Type: Power

Tier: 1

To Unlock: 3 Kits

To Upgrade: 15 Power Kick Kills and 15 Air Stomp Kills​
Sensor Upgrade:

Upgrades radar and zoom functions, unlocks hack assistance, and increases enemy sounds for heightened perception. Each can be double in effectiveness.

To Upgrade: Tag 25 enemies​
Energy Upgrade:

Allows 20% EMP protection, faster energy charge, and less HUD interference. These can all be upgraded to 33%.

To Upgrade: Regenerate 5000 energy​
Threat Detector:

Highlights enemy bullet paths as well as environment hazards and explosives. These ranges can be increased by 50%

To Unlock: 1 Kit

To Upgrade: Tag 20 enemies​
Deflection:

Allows 50% bullet impact dampening as well as faster knock-back recovery, these abilities can be increased to 75%.

Type: Armor

Tier: 2

To Unlock: 1 Kit

To Upgrade: Absorb 150,000 Damage​
Reflex Boost:

Allows 20% quicker weapon reloads, weapon select, and weapon aiming which can be increased to 33%.

Type: Speed

Tier: 2

To Unlock 2 Kits

To Upgrade: Kill 50 enemies within 1 second of aiming down sights​
Extended Cloak:

Allows 20% longer cloak time as well as stealth movement. This can be increased to 33% longer clock time.

Type: Stealth

Tier: 3

To Unlock: 3 Kits

To Upgrade: Remain cloaked near enemies for 100 seconds. ​
Weapon Handling:

Allows 50% quicker semi-automatic fire as well as unlocks weapon stabilization. Can be increased to 75% faster fire.

Type: Power

Tier: 3

To Unlock: 1 Kit

To Upgrade: Kill 50 enemies​
Super Strength:

Allows 25% stronger throwing and unlocks Power Melee attacks. Can be increased to 50%

To Unlock: 3 Kits

To Upgrade: Grab 25 enemies and Power Melee 25 enemies​
First Aid:

Allows 20% faster health regeneration as well as 20% critical health boost. These can be increased to 33% bonuses.

Type: Armor

Tier: 3

To Unlock: 1 Kit

To Upgrade: Survive 10 near-death experiences as well as recover 25,000 health points​
Heavy Armor:

Allows 20% stronger armor, and less fall/burn damage which can be upgraded to 33%. However, this will reduce armor movement by 33%.

Tier: 4

To Unlock: 3 Kits

To Upgrade: Absorb 150,000 damage. ​
Vertically:

Allows 50% faster ledge grabs and requires 50% less energy for power jumps. These can be increased to 75% bonuses. Unlocks aimed power jumps.

Type: Speed

Tier: 4

To Unlock: 2 Kits

To Upgrade: Carry out 30 power jumps and 30 ledge grabs​
Light Armor:

Allows 25% faster movement and extra melee protection which can be increased to 50% bonuses but at the cost of 50% less armor protection.

Tier: 4

To Unlock: 1 Kit

To Upgrade: Absorb 100,000 Damage​
Assassin:

Allows 25% faster stealth kills while maintaining full cloak during stealth kills. This can be upgraded to 50% faster stealth kills.

Type: Stealth

Tier: 4

To Unlock: 1 kit

To Upgrade: Carry out 25 Stealth Kills​

 

Wild Cards

I ditched both my primary and secondary weapons for 2 tier 1 perks, 2 tier 3 perks and an extra tac equipement.

I might switch it up for 2 lethal equipements, but cant decide what to get rid of. i have to make tough choices now deciding which 2 tier 3 perks to chose, and tier 1 is almost as tough.

 

Agree wholeheartedly. The minion map is great for assessing where enemy pilots will likely be heading. I wanted to like the Ice Pick but since the spectres and turrets are trash I couldn't really get into it. Maybe if it also allowed you to pull a stealth
Rodeo or something...? I didn't see any great benefit to the Guardian Chip, and being able to save three seconds on the actual drop time is kinda lame.

 

3 seconds could mean getting in your Titan or death by execution/long range fire
