Thunderstorm has left my 360 and One not working

So there was this storm last night and i had my 360 on as i was watching TV on it, then a massive bit of lightning occured which made the light in the middle of my xbox turn red. I turned it off and on again but now it wont connect to the TV as it states
that there is no signal for HDMI1 (360) or HDMI3 (One). However it is displaying my HDMI2 (Sky) which works fine, bht it was unplugged at the time. So i was wondering if the problem is my HDMI cables or the Xbox's itself. I've also tried the console on another
TV and it doesn't work. My xbox's both seem to work fine as when i turn them on i can connect my controller and i'll be on the dashboard (as my friends have said that i was online) so the question is, is it my HDMI cables to the TV that are the issue or is
it the power leads for the xbox or do the xbox's itself have the fault and need repairing/fixing?

Xbox does not recognize my connection now

Today a thunderstorm knocked out my power for several hours. When it came back on, my 360 refused to recognize my network cable, though I made sure to test the cable itself and my router to make sure they were working, and even switched cables for the Xbox
with a brand new cable, and it does not recognize anything.

What can I do?

 

Xbox 360 Left Analog Stick

I was recently using my Xbox 360, and was on the home/start screen and the left analog stick was not working. I started a game (Forza Horizon) and the left analog stick was working perfectly. What's wrong?

 

I've tried with a known working HDMI cable and it still doesn't work, so is something wrong with my xbox?

For the Xbox 360 disconnect the power supply from the mains power outlet, press the power button several times, reconnect the power supply to the mains power outlet. Press and hold the guide button on the controller and the xbox will start to power on, let
go of that button and press and hold Y and the right trigger, the xbox should restart and the display settings will be reset.

For the Xbox One, with the xbox powered on press and hold the xbox button ( power button ) for 10 seconds, the xbox will power off, wait 30 seconds and power the xbox on again by pressing and holding the eject and xbox button until you hear the power on
tone ( this can take a couple of tries to get just right, try maybe pressing and holding the eject button just before you press and hold the xbox button )

My xbox one now miracously works, went to do what you said and it displayed on my tv so that issue is solved.

My 360 nothing happened after following your instructions however it is one of the newer consoles so i cant press the button as it is sensored.

 

Xbox 360 E or Xbox 360 S console: To reset display setting on these console models, you can also just turn off the console and then hold the power button on the front of the console down for about 10 seconds. (The lights will flash several times.)

Nope, nothing. The lighs did there magic but the console unfortunately didn't.

 

It may be the hdmi port on the console got fried, try turning the hdmi cable around though so the end that's in the xbox is in the tv and vice versa.

 

Other than disconnecting the power to the xbox for a while and trying it again I'd say the hdmi port got damaged during the storm.

 

I'll leave it unplugged for a while, as thats what i did with my One as i had to unplug it to check the serial number when i was on the phone to customer support so hopefully that'll fix my 360 too, so i guess i'll get back to you if it works, thanks

You could try the regular A/V cable for sure.
