    Thrustmasters handling of US HOTAS One launch


    Hello, id like to report a problem with the company Microsoft chose to license peripherals through: Thrustmaster.

    At E3 2017, after 3 years of the space flight sim Elite Dangerous being out, the much anticipated HOTAS One was announces to go on sale. On October 4th 2017, the HOTAS One finally went up for preorder on Amazon for North Americans. I and many others instantly
    placed our preorders. The release date was October 12th.

    October 12th came and went and Amazon never received stock to ship out. Instead, Thrustmaster sold out their prerelease stock in the UK and diverted theit shipment from the US to sell in the UK. On top of prevented us from receiving out orders, they lied
    and said it was Amazons fault for not stocking enough (Amazon didnt receive any stock).

    Amazon kept moving the projected date back. First it was November 14th, then December 11th, until finally they cancelled all North American orders due to lack of shipment/inability to deliver.

    This was the only thing many of us expected to have for Christmas this year. Seeing as Microsoft is a US company, I see this action by Thrustmaster to be very anti-american. How can microsoft allow this company to obtain a license for their prpduct if they
    dont even plan on selling to Americans?

    Is there any recourse the thousands of us that preordered have? Can Microsoft possibly choose a better company to license their peripherals through (or possibly produce the items themselves)?

    Both PC and PS4 have easy access to flight sticks and other peripherals, why is Xbox and especially american Xbox consumers being left in the dirt?

    Hotas and copilot

    Hey,

    I was wondering if we are going to get an software update in the future that will allow us to use both Hotas and controller at the same time in copilot mode. As of right now the xbox does not recognize the Hotas as a controlling device and therefore we can
    not use the copilot option with it. I find this a little weird cause the Hotas for xbox has been out for a while now. You can use the Hotas and it does allow you to navigate but the controller does it so much better and the thing is that the Hotas is not very
    good at navigating the menu's in a game. It is possible but it's not very user friendly. Again the controller does this way better.

    Microsoft flight simulator 2020 compatible peripheral devices

    You should be able to use the Thrustmaster Hotas One and matching pedals as the Hotas One was specifically made to be Xbox One compatible.

    It also works on PC once you have downloaded the drivers from the Thrustmaster support pages.

    Purchased thrustmaster full flight kit(hotas and pedals) for xbox one and they dont work with xbox one.

    thx for the reply. I found listings for the T-Flight Hotas One for xbox one and the xbox green logo is on the box. I also found videos of people unboxing and using these xbox one hotas. I also see the rudder pedals on the thrustmaster site. They say the
    pedals are part of the ecosystem and will connect to the T-Flight Hotas One. But I cant find out which pedals are actually compatible with xbox one. Thrustmaster does make hotas and pedals for xb1. But the Full Flight Kit Bundle isn't showing a compatibility
    with xb1.

    It does not look like it is compatible with Xbox One out of the box. You would need to use something like Xim or the adaptive controller to directly use it on the console.

    You might want to look into something directly compatible, like the
    Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS here    , which is, and only marginally more expensive.
