Thrustmaster wheel. Wireless?

Quest - I think it's generally accepted that having a wired wheel is preferable over a wireless wheel due to reduction of input lag. The fact that the Thrustmaster is wired should not discourage anyone from buying it.

I'm currently on my second Thrustmaster wheel. Something in my first one (that I had since November) went bad and the wheel just stopped working one day last month. Thrustmaster customer support was really good about walking me through some troubleshooting
steps and getting a replacement wheel base sent out. The new base works great and, overall, I've been really happy with the quality of the Thrustmaster wheel. I previously owned a Fanatec CSR wheel and the Thrustmaster is definitely a step up. Hopefully a
3-pedal set and H-pattern shifter will be available soon.

I just hooked mine up today. I knew the cable was short so I got a 10 foot extension USB cable and it would not work? Had a old 3 foot cheap cable and it works? Maybe new cable was bad..

No its wired...with a short usb cable...may need to buy a usb extention cable.

Oh you'll need an extension cable for sure.

I own the Thrustmaster wheel, and the cable is shorter then the play and charge cable u get with a controller for the xbone.

+1 for a speedwheel but with the bumper buttons. I'm guessing Xbox and thrustmaster has summer sort of exclusive agreement that sees thrustmaster as the early hardware provider for racing wheels... Sort of giving them early entry into the space. Thrustmaster
responds with two wheels, one budget one enthusiast but both with pedals of which it seems gamers like us don't see a huge need for.

My worry is that fundamentally the 360 speed wheel can have it's wireless unit replaced for one that communicates with the Xbox one. And if Microsoft were to do that it'd still be missing the bumper buttons.
