Thrustmaster USB Joystick with Flight Simulator 2020

Hi

I bought one of the only available joysticks specifically for use with FS2020 -- the Thrustmaster USB Joystick.

Windows recognises it as a USB controller, but there are no drivers. It works with Elite Dangerous (despite the lack of yaw) but I cannot get it to work in FS2020. It comes up as a USB Game Controller, but trying to add controls is not recognised when I
tap a button or the Y or X axis. Has anyone else had any luck using this joystick?

Same problem here. Have been using an xbox one controller, but I don't really like it.

Edit: I tried checking the sensitivity settings and it recognizes the joystick and can see its movement. I also could manually assign pitch and roll, but the thrust axis was in the all category so it was a bit hard to find.

So I took your advice and yes, it works. Press the Sensitivity button first and essentially calibrate X, Y and throttle. Then use the "All" tab under "Filter". You then need to select "Ailerons Axis" with input Joystick Axis X from the drop down list, Elevator
Axis to your Joystick Y Axis, and Throttle 1 Axis as Joystick Axis Z.

Hello, Same issue for me. finds it but impossible to map anything.

Try unplugging it. I get "USB Device Controllers" appearing in the FS2020 menu which disappears when it's unplugged.

On mine, it shows up in device manager, but not in the game options at all.
