  1. Thrustmaster TX Wheel - going crazy!!

After playing for an hour or so, my wheel started going nuts and randomly pressing buttons (pause, change view, rewind, hud...). Has anyone experienced that?

I did the firmware update when I first received the wheel a few weeks back. I've only spent maybe 5-6 hours total playing with this wheel, so it seems quite strange...

    Any help is welcome!

    Thanks

    :)

  3. $99 Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Spider Racing Wheel

    I can't speak to the $99 wheel.

I have the Thrustmaster TX and it's great. I can see the price point of the TX being a little high for first time buyers - but I'll tell you that it's a really great wheel. I've previously played on Logitech G25, G27 and Fanatec CSR wheels and the Thrustmaster
TX beats them all in terms of performance. The wheel is really smooth and the feedback is strong and accurate. I highly recommend the TX wheel.

  4. Thrustmaster TX Wheel - going crazy!!

Oh never mind I found out why. The screw behind the "snap on" wheel was loose, presumably causing the connections to be loose themselves (even though the wheel wasn't) and thus leading to the "ghost buttons" being pushed.
