    Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas One Joystick


    I have just connected the above joystick which I read is compatible with Xbox series S and the Microsoft flight simulator game. I have followed all the instructions and while it works correctly in Xbox settings, the cursor/joystick does not operate in the Microsoft flight simulator game although all of the other joystick buttons A, X, Y, B etc. work OK. I have meticulously checked that the joystick is switched to Xbox before plugging into one of the USB ports at the back of the Xbox. The small white light on the joystick comes on and the Xbox Consol connects. The joystick works to enable me to put in my Microsoft password and bring up the menu. However once they flight simulator menu comes up, the joystick no longer works although the ABXY buttons do work. The curser is sitting at the bottom of the Welcome screen.

    Can anyone advise if there is something I have overlooked as to why the joystick does not move the curser to enable me to start a game. At one stage of my experimentation, the Xbox controller would enable the cursor to move and under Options it seemed as though both the controller and the new joystick were both listed as default???

    Is this possibly a defective joystick?

    it looks like the pedals are compatible but you might need to get the T.Flight Hotas One joystick.

    Hi,

    Thanks for responding. I am not sure what you mean. I have connected a Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS one (flight)joystick to my Xbox with the USB cable that came with the joystick. I am not sure what "pairing and syncing" you are referring to. The guide says "plug cable in and start Xbox" then I should be able to use the joystick as controller but the joystick remains unresponsive?

    I don't think there are any yokes that are compatible with the Xbox One.
