Thrustmaster Hotas 1 and the X-Box-X Controller “A” throttle up

Hi there Wayne! Christopher here, an Xbox fan and been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Check your configuration settings with the driver on your PC (should be called "Control Panel" with a little HOTAS icon)

Now move the Throttle/Z-Axis on your HOTAS up and down all the way to confirm that the throttle is going up the entire way.

If it does go up the entire way, then it is a keybind issue

If it does not, then unfortunately it is an issue with the HOTAS's throttle. You will have to calibrate it in the control panel menu

(It's always a good idea to download the PC drivers so you can calibrate your T.Flight Hotas One, run diagnostics and see if there's any issues with your HOTAS that's affecting your Xbox experience) If you don't have the PC drivers, they can easily be downloaded here:

Just simply select >Drivers - Package 2017_TFHT_1 + Firmware and make sure you set the switch near the joystick to PC instead of Xbox before you connect it to your PC.

Oh my, I've searched for similar issues, couldn't find someone with precisely the issue with the A button, but most of the adviced on the forums are that the controller might have an issue! So I suggest contacting the seller Wayne!

Okay, after some researching it seems your controller should work fine, is this a new controller?

Yes, it is set to xbox when I use the xbox. The actual controller A button will do full throttle, the throttle when I push it all the way forward only goes to about 50% power.
