thrustmaster controller causes engine damage in league play

Okay, don’t worry. There’s another possible option that should work.

As the error only occurs when you have the steering wheel connected, see if it helps to connect it at a different time. For example, there may be an improvement if you connect the steering wheel after launching FH5 and not before (or vice versa).

I recommend to completely uninstall and reinstall the thrustmaster driver. Be sure to restart your PC and see if FH5 crashes at any point (launch the game a few times to confirm this) before reinstalling the driver.

The easiest way to uninstall thrustmaster would probably be from the add/remove feature in control panel. From the Windows Open box, type ‘control panel’, then find and select ‘uninstall a program’. I believe the thrustmaster steering wheel is called ‘FFB racing wheel drivers’, and it should only be a few megabytes. Reinstall the driver exactly the same way as when you initially installed it originally.

The next step would depend on the results from trying the above. If it’s successful (even with the driver installed), then great and you don’t need to do anything else - have fun playing! If it’s not successful, however, then you unfortunately would need to wait until this is eventually fixed in an update from the developers. Contact both Forza Support and Thrustmaster Support if this is the case.

Also, the same is happening with my Thrustmaster T Rudder Pedals. Steering right, it doesn't go to its full position. Replug in fixes this issue. Same with tapping the toe brakes. I believe Windows is causing this issues with my game controllers. Thanks

Oh you'll need an extension cable for sure.

I own the Thrustmaster wheel, and the cable is shorter then the play and charge cable u get with a controller for the xbone.
