Throwback to homescreen

I've looked for a solution for this and have not found it. When I use any app (friends, settings, sign in, party) the game recognizes it, goes to the app and qucikly throws me back to home screen. Can't do anything on the console. Any way to fix this would
be very much appreciated.

You didn't leave a game lobby to go to your homescreen or something?

Or party chat to homescreen but not leave the chat?

Hey Dan! Not sure if they covered this with you on the Support Line or not, but any time you run into any weird bugs or anomalies, one of the first things to try is clearing the cache, which involves a hard shut down and restart. If you have any apps hanging
on a black screen, booting back to the home screen, or various other malfunctions, try this:

1. Hold the power sensor (white Xbox logo) on the front of the console for approximately 8 seconds. After you see the power brick light flash orange, you can let go of the sensor.

2. Wait for the power brick to turn solid orange (not flashing back to white) and then power the console back up.

3. If you continue to experience issues, repeat step one, and then UNPLUG the console for around 30 seconds, then plug it back in and go to step 2.
