    Three Xbox Store Issues (Updates, Search bar, Language)


    1.) Every single time I enter the Xbox Store it says Xbox Store would like to update. Then I hit ok and nothing happens. This really happens every single time I enter the store (also if it is only 10 minutes apart).

    2.) Also often the search bar wont work. I try to type in sth and the search bar stays empty (I can klick on the letters on the virtual keyboard but nothing happens).

    3.) Finally a lot of stuff on the store is written in English. I am from Germany so some stuff is in German and some stuff is in English for whatever reason.

    How to change language in XBOX app on Windows 10?

    Xbox App uses the language that you have assigned as your preffered Windows language. In order to change that, search for "Language" (type this in your Windows language if you're not using the english version) in the search bar on Windows and then the language
    panel will come up. (It's the same panel you use if you want to change keyboard preferences) The language which is in the top, is the one that the Store and all it's apps use. Just get the language you prefer in the first spot and the Store along with all
    the apps and your keyboard will use this as preffered language.

    Xbox game bar not recording gameplay

    Check the Store for an update to Game Bar. Also in search type Apps and Features then click on Xbox Game Bar, then click advanced options then from here you can reset the app.

    Try this;

    STEP 1 — INSTALL PENDING UPDATES

    - Click on Start (the Windows icon in the bottom left-hand side corner of your screen)

    - Select Settings

    - Go to Update & Security

    - Stay on Windows Update

    - Click the Check for Updates button.

    - Wait until the verification is done

    STEP 2 — INSTALL STORE UPDATES AND SIGN OUT

    - Open the Microsoft Store app on your computer.

    - In the Windows Search Bar, type "Store."

    - Click on Microsoft Store and select “Open” in the menu

    - In the top right-hand side corner of the Microsoft Store, click on the three-dot menu

    - Go to Downloads and updates.

    - Click Get updates then Update all and wait for the updates to install.

    Note: You can turn on automatic updates in the Microsoft Store

    To do so:

    - Click on the three dots menu, then select Settings.

    - Under App updates, set Update apps automatically to On.
