Three Xbox one consoles

Hello.

i just purchased a third xbox console. I have

an xbox live gold account. My three sons each have gamertags under my account. With two xboxes....i had xbox A as our home console where everyone could play all purchased games AND play online. Then they could sign in under my gamertag and play xbox B. Now
that we have a third xbox (xbox c) i want to get another gold membership for one of my boys and designate either xbox B or C as a second home xbox. That way we three people can play at once. Is it possible to have two home xboxes under one family if we have
two gold memberships?

The only other thing i can think to do is to just set up the third xbox as a completly separate xbox for one of my kids and put gold on it. That way that kid could set it as a home xbox, but play on a different xbox.

If i’m going to pay for another gold account...i would like the benefit of another home xbox where anyone that comes over can enjoy xbox live. I realize that MY games wont be on that second home xbox....but my oldest son has purchased about a dozen games
under HIS gamertag. So if i could give him gold and let him set a home xbox...that would be ideal.

Yeah, it should work just fine. You can also try different set up, i believe you can change ‘home xbox’ like 4-5 times per year (not sure about the quantity).

Based on what you said, my recommendation would be to get Gold for your oldest sons account, and set one of the Xbox's as his Home Xbox.

That should accomplish everything you want to if my understanding of your post is correct.

That should work just fine, since each account can set their own Home Xbox. It will only be able to share whatever content and subscription it has to other accounts.

Yes. Since the gold would be on a different account, that account can set the 3rd console as their Home.

You would need at least 2 subscriptions. You can share via the Home setting, but you can only share on 1 console at a time. So for example, if you buy the subscription/games on your account, you can set one of the other consoles as your Home then as long as you're signed in on the Series X, you can still access your games/subscription. You would then need a 2nd subscription for the 3rd console.
