Threats of my UP addreass

So i have a guy whos saying they got my i.p addreass and thats a worry who do i contact about this.

he also states that he using some one elses account which he says he hacked and taken off someo e else he has to accounts he in my party right now with me and my friends. I have proof of this treat in a message who do i contact.

yesterday here was a threat to solve this issue. but now the threat is gone.

i solved my blackscreen with the emergency update as descripbed in the threat.

my box is working flawless now

Hello I got a ban for harassment, threating and abuse and banned me from multiplayer but i have no such thing on my messages i have some little banter on messages saying bad thing but not anything under threating, harassing or abuse it saying something like
" what a cancer set up" using cancerous for an adjective or name calling with friends over party and messages but not harassment or abuse and most certainly not threating

Report and Block the player so that the enforcement team can take some action. Once you have done that, another thing to look into would be contacting your Internet Service Provider and see if they can change your IP address.

First of all: knowing your IP address is nothing to worry about. You can simply disconnect your modem for a few seconds, and plug it in again, and you will have a new IP address, which is unknown to the person harassing you.

Don't feel intimidated by people threatening to know your IP address. As soon as you are in a multiplayer match or a party, it's very easy to find the IP addresses from all people participating in the party or game lobby. It requires no real skill.

It's like seeing kids playing in the street, and then telling the kids "Ha! Now I know which street you live in!". As scary as this might sound, it's not (at least in this analogy).

If you have the threat as a message, simply report the actual message on your console. This will then send the message with all necessary information to the Enforcement Team, who then can act on that report.

In order to protect you from people that threaten and harass you, you can block that specific account from contacting you by opening the Profile on your console, and then use the "Mute" and "Block" options on the profile to prevent the person from contacting
you.

To prevent strangers from getting into your party, you can set the party to invite only, if you are the host of the party (or ask your friend that started the party to set it to invite only).

If the person uses multiple accounts to get around your blocks and continues to harass you, you could temporarily set your online and privacy settings to "Friends Only", so only people from your friend list can contact you.
