Threats HELP

To whom ever this concerns

Recently Ive been playing bf3 on a friends server and ran into a ambassador that sent me a msg via xbox 360 stating basically that I was unsporting because I was **** although on the server my friend owns the rules stat its encouraged. Its basically if you
don't like the server join another we don't force people to play but this guy said he was going to get me banned and as a ambassador he had the power to do so and that I should enjoy this ban. He also added me to a party and said he now has my ip and was going
to DDOS me or something and that my internet will be going off. I simply told him he cant do that and he has no power. Im scared to play now and worried about this. I will not release his GT unless im said to. Xbox live is awesome and I want it to stay like
that ive been a partner for years now. I just want someone to take action its people like this who ruin my xbl experience I also fear for other online can someone please help me out and sorry if im not in the right threat im just very worried.

Overreact much? Just redownload your purchased items from download history on your Xbox or here on Xbox.com

Not sure how much the threats will help. Look at Netflix, they lost nearly 800k subscribers since they changed their pricing plans but even the threats of losing up to one million subscribers hasn't deterred them. Historically threats don't work or help.

 

Receiving Hack Threats! Help!

If you haven't already, file a complaint on the user via the console (calling out other gamers on the forums is not allowed) and block communications with him. People send threats like that all of the time mostly to just make you scared.

Ambassadors can't ban you, they are regular users like you and I. You would need to report him on your console. Naming and shaming is not permitted on the forums anyway, you did the right thing on that.

unfortunately, you do get the odd ambassador that thinks they have complete control of live, what they don't realise is that there just sad and pathetic sore losers. just report, block on the console and enjoy you gaming.

 

There's always a few rotten apples ruining it for the rest of us, but like the others said. They do not have the ability to ban, their reports do not get pushed in front of the Enforcement list etc...

Alleged ambassador. People who have nothing better to do claim titles all the time. This way he can threaten people and ruin the name of a program he's probably not a part of all at the same time. If you report him via the console and report any messages
he's sent and also block him his life will change starting with regret.

 

As Feared said, definitely report the player using the reporting tools on your console. Threats of network manipulation are a ban-worthy offense for any player, let alone one who is part of the Ambassador program.
