THREATENING!!

GAMERTAG: [Mod Removed]

This person verbally assaulted and threatened, with lots of profanity, me and three of my friends on GTA5 Online. He threatened to use "[Mod Removed]" to kick me and my 3 friends off of Xbox live.

This is a young *** and I find it very offensive and extremely upsetting that he was threatening to use a hacking program to remove us. And, as far as my knowledge goes, federal law states that any hacking or threats of hacking is a federal offense under
the criminal codes of both the United States and Canada. Said person, [Mod Removed], has his profile blocked so I am unable to provide any additional information on this person but, I would like to see something done and be notified of the
steps taken to correct, punish or rectify this problem .

Just as e7 Astro said, "Don't join unknown peoples lobbies. Especially in MW3 or so. Where there is a serious "DE RANK" problem. But aside from that, you'll be fine. He can't do anything but to annoy

Microsoft can't guarantee the player will get banned I understand this player may of upsetting you but asking for them to get banned doesn't look good.

However going back to the topic you simply view the players gamertag and file complaint them an enforcement member will review your report within 24 hours and appropriate action will be taken.

 

You need to report on your console and contact your isp.

Do not post your personal email here,as no one from microsoft will help you from these forums.

 

I would like to check that the correct information was transmitted. In the second paragraph. I typed in "young ***" and I have noticed that in my transmission the word was changed to asterisks. I don't know if this was something on your part or on mine,
but better safe than sorry.

 

Its a forum filter to remove profanity.

Nothing you have written will be seen by anyone that can help with your problem.

 

You should also block comms or set comms to friends only.

The only way to report someone is via your console,it can't be done on the forums.

Calling out gamertags as well as posting personal info like your email address is not allowed on the forums.

 

Just because you want action, Does NOT mean it will happen.

First, you have to follow the rules too.... Otherwise, you look silly.

You said he was Blocked-- now file a report... Move on.

You can do the following:

Mute another player on Xbox Live

To mute another player on Xbox Live:

1. Press the Guide button on your controller.

2. Press Y on your controller to go to the Xbox Dashboard.

3. Select Friends, and then go to the Players tab. Select the player’s Gamertag.

4. Select Mute.

Block communications from another player on Xbox Live

To block communications from another player on Xbox Live:

1. Press the Guide button on your controller.

2. Press Y on your controller to go to the Xbox Dashboard.

3. From the Dashboard, open a message from the player whose communications you want to block.

4. Select Block Communications.

The player will not be able to send you any message, unless you first send a message to that player.

Avoid another player on Xbox Live

To avoid a specific player on Xbox Live:

1. Press the Guide button on your controller.

2. Select Friends, and then go to the Players tab.

3. Select the player’s Gamertag.

4. Select Submit Player Review.

5. Select Avoid This Player.

6. Select why you want to avoid the player: Communication, Game Behavior, or Player Skill.

7. Select the specific reason why you want to avoid the player.
