Threatening Message from someone

I was in an Xbox Live Party with someone who was threatening to boot me offline. He had my IP address (I checked it and it was correct) and he found my location. I am uncomfortable with this and I have been told he has booted someone off for 'proof' that
he can do it before. I think he may also be modifying games unlawfully and I do not think this is right. I do not want to expose his gamer tag to anyone but those with authority due to his privacy rights and I hope this issue can be seen to and dealt with
as I do no feel safe any more. Thank you.

Please help me - Being harassed on XBL

Someone is constantly sending me threatening messages and hitting me offline. He's sent me my own ip address to me in a message to try and scare me, I have valid proof that he's been threatening to get my account banned and I keep getting hit offline. Is there anything I can do about this if I can show someone the messages that he's sending to me? I have no problem giving an employee my information for them to see the proof themselves.

If someone was outside my door and they were screaming about how they were going to come in and bust me up or kill me, I would call the police. But I would feel like a moronic, foolish idiot-woman calling the cops over some angry xbl person that I've never
met and has no idea where I even live.

report and block him on the console, switch off your router for 15 minutes then switch it back on, issue resolved as this will change your ip.

I know it isn't fun receiving threatening messages from someone, but you should never engage with them. You should always block, mute and report the other person.

So if report them and they actually are threatening to ddos because I have the message a message from the person should be enough I shouldn't take the fall if someone is threatening me isn't that in the code of conduct plus there swearing and that's also
in the code of conduct like I said someone threatening me I've tried to contact my ISP they cant do anything the router doesn't change IP addresses its random it's on a lease and I tried getting the police involved they looked at me like I had 10 heads and
like I said I shouldn't be paying for security aka the gold subscription where people are hacking and etc

Microsoft is strict you can get banned for communication by cursing and threatening other people make the Xbox environment unsafe if someone "threatened my child" You need to click on the message and report it that
is it. The Microsoft team will deal with it. it will take a couple of days. if your son keeps on getting threaten BLOCK THE Person.
