    Threatened to end my Xbox Live by pulling my IP address


    I logged on to my Xbox 360 and came across a message from a player that I did not recognize saying "I'm pulling your IP at this moment you won't be able to play tomorrow so enjoy tonight" I've attached a screenshot. I messaged Xbox
    Support about this and I was told they were "pretty sure" it was just an empty threat and I was finally able to find him and report him (I had originally blocked him first so I had to figure out how to find his gamertag). I'm still left feeling uneasy about
    this and was wondering if there was a way, given I have the message he sent me, to make sure his illegal threat does not go unnoticed?

    Connected to wi-fi but "service info is unavailable". Haven't been able to play online for about 4 days now...

    I talked with my ISP and they said everything looks good on their end. They say that they are pulling an IP address from my Xbox and everything seems fine on their end.

    As support suggested you should just report this person or block him from your console and move on.

    That is all you can do as gamer.

    They cannot ban you from Live. Only XBLPET can do that.

    Xbox support won`t do anything to stop a ddos attack.

    Anyone can find your ip address at any time with a bit of knowledge,it doesn`t mean they know what to do with it when they get it.

    If you are attacked report the person on your console, and contact your isp and get them to investigate the attack.

    They may have just told him to Block, Mute, and file a report through the console.......

    He was never attacked, just Threatened by a guy on xbox...
