Threatened by another user.

I have received 2 messages from the user (MOD REMOVED) whilst playing Call of Duty Ghosts. I was in party chat with one of my friends so I did not speak to him during the game that I was in him with.

Message one from (MOD REMOVED) (voice): "I'm only going to say this once turn the stuff off because you got something on, and I know you do and there's another guy knows you do too and he happens to be an ambassador for microsoft and hes the one told me
so. Better do something quick".

My Reply (voice): "I don't know what you think I'm doing but I'm using the Makarov camo and the new gun called The Ripper"

I assumed he does not have the DLC for either of these. The new gun has a feature whereby the rate of fire changes depending upon which mode it is set to. This leads me to believe that he thought I was using some kind of modification to change the rate of
weapon fire.

Message two from (MOD REMOVED) (text): 'dude you stop your cr#p you bag *** bag i have two years ambassador / enforcement united and a admin on facebook_you don't know cr#p you and eventually you will get some on you'.

Apologies for the #censorship but I do not like swearing and I also apologize in advanced if this is not acceptable on the forums but these were his messages to me.

I replied (text): join my xbox live party so we can talk about this civilly, I'm not swearing or trying to start an argument.

He did not join my party. I then proceeded to File Complaint, Submit negative player review and block communications. I went to the support section and was advised by a Microsoft chat support operator to make a post here so the the enforcement team could
see it. Whilst he did not directly tell me that I would get banned by himself he did make a claim that he represents Microsoft as an ambassador. This is to my knowledge against the code of conduct. Can this please be looked into by a member of your enforcement
team. Thanks

File a complaint and block communication. The enforcement team will take care of him from there. Calling out other gamers on the forums is not allowed.

What he did is called a DDOS attack. You should report it to your ISP as well.

 

Threatened by other user

I was threatened by another xbox live user, he told me he was gonna disconnect me from live. Immediately after he said this, i got disconnected and when i ran the live test it said there were DNS errors or something. Is there anything i could do to stop
this from happening? p.s after about a minute or so, everything comes back online. And the guy did this a total of 3 times.

Please NO naming and sharing on the forums. Second get thicker skin and repoort them. You can also block the as well.

 

Restrict your privacy settings so that you don't recieve messages from randoms.

This is all you needed to do. The appropriate people at Xbox will see those reports and take appropriate action.

Two points here.

1) Xbox support (phone, email, Twitter) are always doing this. They are constantly sending people here, and directing telling them to violate the

Xbox Forum Guidelines

2) Xbox Enforcement never read these sections of the forums, and the parts they do frequent, they only respond to inquiries as to why someone has been banned.

 

After he honestly informed you of his ambassadoriness, All my answers at that point would have been yes sir and what would you like me to do sir. You just don't mess with ambassadoriness'ness. Really I shouldn't have even commented in here. He could come
after ME!
