Thoughts, wants, rumors and predictions at E3?

Microsoft starts Sunday the 11th at 2pm pacific time.

I'm sure MS has a major game announcement so I'm gonna guess it's an exclusive Ninja Gaiden game. That's one of the many rumors floating around so I'm super stoked for that if true.

I hope we get a release date for Cuphead and Below.

I do have a wish and that's a mic drop moment when they say the Scorpio will be €399.00. It won't happen, but it would be awesome.

I'm definitely very mad by the way. OP got me good, I'm absolutely furious right now. That bastard and his predictions (excuse me, meant to say rumors)!!!!

 

I think they will announce a new Fable game and would also love to see them bring back Conker.

Hardware wise anything under £400 would be great along with confirming VR/AR headsets being available at launch.

 

A new Fable game would be cool, but in my opinion they need at least 2 awesome new IP's to get people excited. People can't complain about the POWAH of the Scorpio so the next thing they will whinge about are exclusives. I'm sure they know that. It would
be cool to see a Borderlands 3 announcement.

Ever heard of flogging a dead horse?

As much as we *all* wanted to see Fable continue as a franchise, it's safe to assume that horse has bolted - since Microsoft closed down Lionhead (Fable's developer). If Fable were still a thing, then why would they cancel Fable Legends after 'x' amount
of years in development? I know a lot of people, including an army of beta testers, gave up all hope after that happened. Unfortunately, can't see Conker rising from the grave either - what with Rare all tied up with Sea of Thieves, one of this year's "blockbusters".

I know it's entirely predictable of Microsoft, but I just hope and pray they're not putting all their cash into TIMED exclusives - because as much as I <3 Lara Croft, another Tomb Raider reveal would be kinda anticlimatic (given that Sony is pumping their
system full of fresh blood). Brandiesel is right, we definitely *need* a new IP or two (or three) because 4K alone isn't enough to sway me from upgrading my current setup. At this stage, I'm not overly concerned about pricepoint or release date...

The most pressing concern is the NAME. The BRANDING. What are they gonna be marketing in November? Xbox 4K? Xbox One X? That's the real dark horse here.

 

Would like some info on the new Star Wars games but in all honesty i'm not that bothered about E3 this year.

No matter what games get announced half of them will no doubt be broken on release or cancelled at some point in the future.

I'm all for a new Ninja Gaiden as long as it has more in common with the Ninja Gaiden Black & not that thing that came out on the 360 a few years ago.

More info on the Scorpio, such as price, V.R. capabilities (Fallout 4 featured on the demo.), and a new version of Kinect. New Halo in the works. Randy Pitchford making an appearance announcing, Borderlands 3. Fable making a comeback with a new studio.

Believe the launch price of the Scorpio will be $699.98.

 

@D33dles, I sure hope you're wrong with that price prediction. I don't want to spend more than €500.00 as i need a new 4k tv to boot.

It's interesting that you brought up a new version of the Kinect. I could see it working well with VR.

I can't wait for E3.

I'd like the xbox scorpio to be slightly smaller and more sleeker than the original xbox 1 and for them to conirm a maximum price of US $599.

On youtube, sony fans are no longer talking about specs and resolution, only cause Microsofts scorpio specs will totally own ps4 pro specs. sony fans are now talking about games. imagine when ps5 comes out, theyll switch right back to specs and resolution.
while xbox fans will be able to shove specs at ps4 pro when it gets released. because sony fans have been on about console comparisons for years. theyll be getting karma when scorpio uploads...

On that topic: the closest I've come to the 'authentic' Splinter Cell experience has been, surprisingly enough, when returning to Ghost Recons Wildlands' latest expansion - Fallen Ghosts! I got an email prompt last week that I could play the DLC seven days
early, *if* I had the season pass. Since I'd already left my (fully completed) game file installed, I decided to take the plunge... so glad I did, because one of the season pass 'freebies' was a free download from the Ubisoft Club - a ghost pack which allowed
me to dress my player in Sam Fisher's iconic outfit! Woot!

Even better, because for the first time *eva* in an Ubisoft game, I got to play as a FEMALE Sam (Samantha?) Fisher! Fallen Ghosts brings four new enemy variants, and since I'm playing on the penultimate difficulty, they've made things a little more "difficult"
for you (all your skills are carried over from the main game, plus you get a new skill tree and level cap). When you're on a mission, wearing your form-fitting kevlar, using your night vision and INFRA-RED GOGGLES, it's truly the next best thing to Splinter
Cell! Especially in cutscenes, when you see the detail up close <3

On the topic of what I'd *like* to see announced at E3- am quite easy to please, so ReCore 2 would make me very happy indeed.
