Thoughts of AC Odyssey

Who’s played it? Thoughts?

I love AC games, but hear this one is so bad in regards to grinding so it almost forces you to buy time saver packs etc. I’m now considering skipping this one.

Hi! Cross-platform play and progress only works for Xbox Play Anywhere titles. Therefore AC Odyssey does not support this feature unfortunately.

Bonjours, je voudrai savoir si je prend le jeux ac odyssey sur pc, y a t-il un moyen pour que les succes que je fais sont activer sur la xbox ? Car je n'ai pas envie de faire un jeu sans avoir mes suscces sur xbox :/

I have been watching some of the "Lets Play" youtube videos, and the Gameplay looks fantastic. I do not like grinding though... I have been holding off until at least the first DLC is released, maybe they will address the grinding with the first big
update. I hope so at least.

 

The game itself is very good and with good graphics quality.

You can always wait for them to launch the game with any expansion or offer

 

I’m probably gonna do the same thing. I was hoping the grinding issue, if there is one will be fixed.

I’m only finishing the AC Origins DLC now so need a small break from AC games anyway.

I don't think i've played an AC game since 2, aren't they all the same, just a re-skin??

 

The reviews for this game are insane. So by the looks of it, it's really good, despite those small flaws you may have heard about.

 

Been hearing a lot from both sides about the grinding. Most seem undeterred by it. I think its pretty gross that they charge $10 (permanant XP boost) for something that could easily be a slider in the options menu. Also pretty snarky of them to place it
under the time savers tab. They know what they’re doing.

I’ll get it when it’s $20 or less. Not just because of this but because I just don’t have the time and patience for games this big anymore. My backlog is too bug as it is.

 

I have been playing it and its a great game, I do agree it can be a bit grinding

Same here. I do believe the new one came too close to the previous chapter...

 

so grindy game or microtracions.....

 

I haven't gotten too far into it, but so far I'm loving it. I haven't really noticed any issues with having to grind though. To me it seems a lot like Origins was.
