    This week sale free games query.


    Most of the games are free on this week sale but we need xbox gamepass to grab the deal. But i have a question that do i need to have ultimate or core will just do? And once the membership ends will I still be able to play the games i bought during this sale or I need to have an active membership? Please help.

    Does Xbox Live Gold make games cheaper?

    Every week there is a "Deal of the Week" that is a sale only accessible to Gold members, you also get 2 free games per month (they are typically older games though). There's is no general discount though.

    Hello, unfortunately no. I've purchased plenty of games and within weeks it's free through game pass. You always have the option of waiting to see if it goes on sale or would become free. This would not be a cause for a refund.
