This was my old tag can i combine with new one

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. I'm sorry to inform you the option to transfer/merge saved data, achievements and any/or game purchases from another Microsoft Account will not be possible. We currently do not have an available feature.
The one step we have available is changing the primary email on the Microsoft account.
You can however set up home consoleon your main profile.
Note:If you choose to remove an alias that uses a Microsoft domain such as @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, or @live.com, that alias will be completely deleted and will not be available to sign in to any Microsoft
services. A microsoft and Xbox account are one and the same. As there is nothing more I will be locking this thread.

I wish it could because I have an old account I would love to combine with my new one. Unfortunately it is not something that can be done.

My old gamer tag has my wife's email address and my new one has my address. I want to delete the new tag completely so I can put my email address on to my gamer tag if that makes sense?

well I only have one game for now and that is dark soul and I can only see 1 file in my old tag and 1 file in my new tag and its name is drak0005 .s.l2 and some1 said that I can add the old tag+file into the new tag and it shud work but it does not, but
my 2 chars I had was around 20 or so it was not to much and I have made new char that are around 15 so I am close in lv but was bit forward in the old chars

I'm having the same issue as stated above. I signed into my account one day telling me I had to download a new profile. When I did, instead of my old gamertag, it was this stupid new one that looks like an auto-generated tag.
