Hi all

Bought a 6 month Live subscription promo from Ebgames

Subscription came in 2 separate codes, first for 3 months and the other was suppose to be stacked for an additional 3 months.

First code worked, second code gives "This token has expired and cannot be redeemed."

Tried few times in the last 2 months with the same result

Any help?

Hello,

I recently received an email saying the existing reward system was changing, so I wanted to make sure I redeemed my Gems. I chose to redeem said Gems for 3 months of Gamepass (1000 Gems) and received a code a day or so later.

Upon trying to redeem that code, I received the following message ""This token has expired and cannot be redeemed."

Can you please assist me in this matter?

Some promo codes cant be stacked you can stack them if you purchase them but thats all...

Promotional codes that you get "for free" often have an expiry date. It seems you bought 3 Months to get an additional 3 months for free.

You would have to talk to Ebgames about the expired code.

Some trial/promo codes cannot be stacked, or the code has actually expired. You will have to contact the supplier of the code.

Some codes have a lead time until when they have to be applied. It is usually up to the end of the same year.

Thank you all for your support.

The second code was suppose to be stackable in order to get the extra 3 months.

Went back to EBGames and they told me to contact microsoft and they said code should not expire, at least not after a month.

Code was bought in June 2018

I tried to enter the second code in july, then in september then yesterday with the same result.

Also tried to redeem on another account just to try but same result.

Contact Us in order to find out what date the card expires in or what the issue might be. Otherwise, there is the option to contact the place of purchase in order for them to try to replace the code or provide a refund.

(Side
note: the callback request option is only available for specific countries.
This should automatically
adjust to your country, if noton the bottom left corner it will show region and you'll be able to change it
from there as well)

It's going to ask if you want help from the virtual agent select
no thanks,pick the category(Games)and
just pick a contact method (request a call from support or Chat is faster).

Where did you purchase this code? If you got it from the Microsoft store, we recommend you request a call back and talk with a support agent.

When you go to
Contact Us to get it to request a callback follow these steps:

Step 1 ----select Xbox One
Step 2 ----select no thanks, then select category system update
Step 3-----gives some troubleshooting or help tips (don't select anything here)
Step 4 ----select request a call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you.

Vouchers purchased in any given year must always be redeemed by the end of the year! If the owner fails to do so, the code will fail. In this case, there is only one option to solve this problem with the vendor who bought this coupon. But sellers will never
comply.

If you bought this code directly from Microsoft, there is a chance of success here.

While I can see the logic in that, this code says it expires on 06/30/2019. It doesn't say anything about expiring at the end of the purchase year.

Hi, I wanted to mention since I've seen a couple other posts with a similar issue- I know that some Xbox bundles in the past came with a code expiring on 06/30/2018. I would verify the year of expiration on your card- if it did expire in 2018, I'd recommend
contacting the retailer from whom you got the console to see if they're able to make a substitution for you. If it does expire in 2019 or if the retailer is unable to resolve the issue, I'd then recommend contacting support as others have mentioned to see
if there's anything they can do.
