This stupid pigs fly achievement =/

Anyone have any tips? I have a couple saddles, I have a carrot on a stick.... I ride the pig up a little hill, he falls off, and I sustain fall damage... not the pig (apparently).

So, what am I doing wrong?

War pigs are the new warhorses.

That can be done already. Pigs fly achievement. You can ride pigs. Just have armor on and have a sword in your hot bar. Once on the pig, equip the sword. This can be done

Signed. My hardest was both when pigs fly and on a rail achievements.

 

On the 360 version. I found a pig and dug a ditch around it (not sure how deep, maybe 4-5 blocks), jump on the pig and keep smacking it until it fall's in the ditch.

 

Enclose one in a penn, wi4h whatever materials you have, if its blocks make sure its 2 blocks high, get a friend to dig out the groud below it, make sue its at least 4 blocks that the pig falls.

 

Yeah it still work's, I got the achievement this morning.

find a pig then quickly build a wall around it so it doesn't escape( 2 blocks tall). Then dig a ditch infront of the outside of the wall ( 2 blocks wide and about 4 blocks deep). Now climb inside the wall and put the saddle on the pig, knock a doorway size
hole in the wall and quickly jump on the pig, now if you give it a couple of smack's it should go through the doorway into the ditch..... Achievement!

 

I got it yesterday guys. Thanks. I used the carrot on a stick trick again, had the pig walk up a hill and there was a mini-cliff on the other side... he fell off and died. The achievement didn't pop, which pi**ed me off, but when I looked at Smarglass,
it showed up. Phew
